View Full Version : ..however..
though many of us, including me, doubted that Ruud Van Nistelroy won't perform very well, he scored a hatrick, and what a hatrick it was. I know that it's just a start and the team was not the best there is in La Liga, but Ruud haven't scored a hatrick for a very long time, lte's hope he'll keep up the good work
NICE JOB RUUD
I didn't think he would do badly at Real, the guy is a natural goal scorer. Although I hate his guts, he did something brilliant for us and I'm going to have to alter my perception of him. Afterall, he does play for us now, so there is no point in being against him.
He played very well, and I liked how even though he missed the penalty and missed that other glorious chance (which Robinho should have put away btw), he was still determined to get his hat-trick and he did with probably the best goal of the night. He played very well and him and Beckam will again be a strong force.
Looking forward to tomorrow now, hope Real get revenge for last season.

boy that third goal was classic Ruud, the cross comes in and a slight chip over the keeper head, man i almost cried when i saw that, it was just beautiful

I imagined Ruud would do well in Madrid, I mean he's a pure striker, he's always in the right place at the right time, and Madrid is an offensive team, which would be translated into many chances for Ruud......while he keeps on scoring'em all it's all cool.....

I still want to see them together.....performing at maximum of course.....they're goal predators, if Ruud has just arrived earlier we would count more goals....

but i dont think ruud and ronaldo on the field together would make much sense unless we have one of the world's top playmakers behind them

Like Zizou?......:(
And yeah, it does have sense, put RVN and Ronald upfront, and behind them Reyes, Becks and Robihno.....now that's an attacking machine! :D

------------------Ruud--------Ronaldo-----------------
----------Reyes------------------------Robinho------
----------------------SOLID DEFENSE----------------
I dont think even this attack can beat any of teh top teams currently.
Barca - Eto'o, Saviola, Ronaldinho, Deco
Chelsea - Ballack, Drogba, Shevchenko
ETC....
Look at Lyon who we lost to in the CL recently, they got Fred!
All we need is experience and a true leader in the middle, which we have lost.

i highly doubt that, reyes is more of a winger, and robinho is about 5 years or more away from leading any top club

I'm sure Reyes would do just fine as supporting striker, and Robinho doesn't need to lead any team, he just needs to take control of one side and dribble and dribble.....and run and dribble......
