I was on my way to work while trying to understand what Stern was talking about. It took me about 1/2 through commute ie. 15 min to understand that we had been attacked. Later that weekend my family had a reunion dinner. While there i found out my Uncle Vassiliy's son-n-law was on the first plane!

I was at a friend's house at Corinth. I remember it well as we were all surprised when we heard about the event.
I was going to get breakfast at my old Middle School when my friend told me what happened. I was young so i didnt take it seriously until i saw the footage in class. It scared the heck out of me!!!

i was just about to go to school when i got a call from my dad who had just been about to board a plane to new york said that he was coming home and told me to turn on the news. i saw the second plane hit and i turned on the TV about 8 mins after the first plane had hit.
The US didnt deserve the Sept 11 attack but everything else they do. :smoking:

I was working in a Sky Tv call centre in Livingston, Scotland. We had Sky news on all the screens in work when the news flash came on. Seen the 2nd plane hit live on tv. Needless to say, it was a funny atmosphere at work for the rest of the day.....

I was at home, chatting with a friend from Germany and got the news from him, I still thought it was a joke even when he sent me a video clip afterwards, then I told my parents, then they turned on the news and there was the breaking news... wow, and it was a week before I have to fly to London, was really scary...

What I can't forget is that many people I saw that day were happy about the incident.
That's sick. This event was terrible, it does not matter which country it happened in. Even if you hate the American government, the people killed there have nothing to do with the government. The opposite: The American government used this terrible event to benefit from.

I was in a hospital with a freind of mine, whose father was just had a bypass surgery and was recuperating. The nurse came and very quietly called the two of us outside, so that the patient isnt disturbed. Then in a very sad but controlled manner, she told us what had happened. We saw the news in the lounge for the next 4-5 hours.
God bless the victims.
