They will not finish in the top 3. Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, and Besiktas have improved their squads noticebly. What happened last year happens once in 20 years in Turkish League, somebody other than the big 4 finishing in top 4 spots. Also, I want to correct you that the best Turkish players currently playing in Turkey are, Tumer and Fatih Tekke.

Agreed, the past couple of years they have imrpoved there squad and standards considerably. I like watching them play. They play as a team not individually.

Kayserispor was eliminated from the uefa cup by AZ Akmaar, champion in the netherlands i think. AZ won 5-4 by aggregate

Man Kayseri are actually aiming for something, with their new stadium coming, i think kayseri just might replace trabzon from the big 4 if they continue like this

Kayersi have made great transfer for next year already, they have signed Muslu Nalbantoglu a RB from Holland.

Armagan Kus, a 16 year old supposedly promising player

and more importantly Aghahowa and Olembe from Wigan in the Premiership.

Aghahowa is a Nigerian striker for Wigan, though he is having a horrible year for them. He has scored 14 goals in 32 appearances for Nigeria. He is only 26 years old.

Olembe is a defender from Cameroon who also plays for Wigan. He is 27 years old.

Also if they keep Topuz and Unal for next season, Kayserispor will really be a force to be reckoned with in the TSL and UEFA.

thats some really good tranfers by kayseri, Muslu is a solid back and a regular at his team while olembe and aghahowa are technically good players that just didnt make a big breakthrough though, especially aghahowa was seen as nigerias biggest talent 4-5 years ago, still both have great experience from french league and so on, i wish gala would buy thises type of players instead, players that have lots of experience from big clubs but just didnt manage to establish themselves, plus there are a good chance of they might rise at the turkish league and then make profit on them. Instead we pay huge amounts on players with 4-5 year contracts and they end up being sold cheaper 1-2 years later with 6 matches in 1 season and the rest out with injury. It happens too often in gala their scouts are probably the worst of the 3 big clubs currently.

Wow this is old thread....... Kayserispor are doing ok this year...will most likely finish in 5th....however Sivasspor has a legitimate shot at winning the league this season...they are only 3 pts behind Fenerbache & Galatasaray with 4 games to play...That would be amazing to see a team break the dominance of the "Big 3"

I disagree Andy...I believe that 3rd place finish "woke Rangers up" and that is one main reason why we are doing so good this year

Kayseri beat C.Rizespor 4-1 today, and 7-1 on aggregate to book their place in the FA Cup Final vs. Gencler Birligi.

Yapımcı Paşalı firmasının işi bırakmasının ardından yeni sezona yetiştirilemeyen Kadir Has Stadının yeni şartnamesinde, Türkiye'nin en modern stadı olacak spor tesisininin 100 gün içinde tamamlanması zorunluluğu yer alacak.

Kadir Has Stadının bir yıllık sürede yüzde 75 seviyesine geldiğini, kalan 3-4 parça iş olduğunu söyleyen Büyükşehir Belediyesi Genel Sekreter Yardımcısı Kemalettin Tekinsoy, "Paşalı grubununun işi bırakması üzerine,stadın yeni seona yetişmesi, mümkün olmadı. Kadir Has Stadımızın kalan işlerininin tamamlanarak, 2008 yılı sonuna kadar hizmete girebilmesi için 31 Temmuz'da yeni ihale yapacağız. İhalede stadın 100 gün içinde tamamlanması maddesi de yer aldı. Kadir Has Stadının yılbaşına kadar tamamlanması halinde Kayserispor ve Erciyesspor ikinci yarı müsabakalarını , doğalgaz ısıtmalı, localı, led sistemi ile ısıklandırılmış, tavanının yüzde 60'ı kapalı yeni stadda oynama olanağına sahip olacak.

According to this article, the construction on the stadium has stopped and their will be a new bidding to see which construction company gets it. Kayserispor are now hoping they can finish the building of their new stadium by the start of the 2nd half of the TSL

^^ wow, that is simply awesome, the way they can illuminate the outter part of the stadium with different colors. When will it host it's first TSL match?

It's a stadium that meets UEFA standards.

Now time for Kayseri to produce a football club that also meets UEFA standards as well and makes some noise in Europe.
