Chelsea finally get Ashley Cole

'Chelsea and Arsenal have agreed terms for the transfers of Ashley Cole and William Gallas,' the clubs said in a joint statement.
'Chelsea will also pay Arsenal 5 million pounds. Both players have agreed personal terms and passed their respective medicals.'

So finally Mourinho has his long wanted leftback. And this happened just minutes before the transfer deadline. And they also got rid of Gallas, which made the transfer sum only 5 mill. Quite cheap really.

This summer has been incredible for Chelsea: Sheva, Ballack, Cole...it might take a while for all of them to find their place in the team, but when they do, that should guarantee the premiership title.

they didnt need cole. wayne bridge is already an awesome left back... now hes #2 to cole on the club and national level.. arsenal losing cole is big cuz were still a bit empty on the left of defense. Justin Hoyte hasnt impressed me and gael clichy will be out injured for a while... Gallas tho he may not want to, will prolly be playing left back
