Season 2006/2007 Formation Setup.

The team was updated with some good players this season and Mr.Luciano Spalletti due 2 a lot of Injury problems last season was so short in options but succeded in making great results and in the end he also made it 2 CL.
Now with More options that he has now how do u think his Formation will be ??
what players will he use for each match and what formation and players are the best in ur oppinion ???

for now i think this is the best formation for Roma 2 start using it and getting used 2 it b4 the start of the season and i'm also expecting it on saturday 1st challenge in Super Coppa against Inter in San Siro (Guisseppe Miazza Stadium)

i like this formation, it shares the defensive mid resposibility between the 3 of them allowing whoever to run forward without worry,
nit quiete to sure about totti upfront alone, never seen him play like that but with the options they have that might be the best one

I Remember that they played with Totti alone in the front this season against Milan in the 1st leg when they won 1-0 and he did well

I find panucci to be awful, I would put anyone including a keeper at right back instead of him. Other than that I think your formation is good. I would put Totti in a supporting striker role if Roma has the run of play, if totti is a supporting striker I would put mido as the striker. If Roma is just looking to defend and steal a goal then I would put Totti all alone up top.

Take out pizzardo and put mido in for him up top.

well materazzi i think my formation is the best for Roma,if u watched the super coppa they played with that formation but instead od Pizarro was Aquilani and it went great and they were up 3-1 but when they turned 2 play with a real striker Mido they found themselves snatched of the cup by Inter.

well now mido isn't a choice, that is kind of dissappointing that he went to tottenham. roma proceeds to not be able to hold onto promising players, but it mido doesn't want to be there he can't perform.

Totti played rather well excluding the penatly miss against livorno, granted it's livorno. I would rather see Totti be a supporting striker instead of a lonesome striker, but they used this formation in their most recent match and faired rather well.

Kuffour proved Roma right in letting him go with his poor defending and foolish challenges in this game. Mexes and Ferrari played better than Kuffour would have. Tonneto looked good as well. Why didn't Chivu play? Fatigue maybe?

I could be wrong but i always thought of Pizarro as more of an attacking mid and Perotta and De Rossi as more defensive. Maybe swap Perotta with Pizarro?

nice formation too, but again i would switch Perotta with Pizarro. Montella should be left out entirely, he will not be fit for a while.

What ever happened to King Adriano, I used to enjoy arguing about Totti and Adriano with him.
