Even if I had computers since my very early years, the first time I used the internet was in 2000. I started being a permantnet user in 2002.

My first time was in 2001-2002. My first site was Yahoo.com.
I still love yahoo.
I have my account there and it is the first site I go on everyday and I only use Yahoo to find something and sometimes but seldom, I'll use google.
Right now, I'm totally hooked on Youtube.com. That site has some of the best videos. I only use it to see football clips or surf up guys that I like. (Yes, I am female:nod:)
The net is cool; oh so very cool indeed.

The purpose of this thread for me was to see how long people have been using the net and also to create a bit of nostalgia.

Some websites are now of course defunct and some are huge :)

I thought someone might read through this thread and think "Oh i remember that site ages ago, I wonder what its like now?" Or something along those lines.

I don't remember which was the first site I saw. Probably the site that was the default of Internet Explorer 1.1 :lol: But i really wasnt fascinated by the net till about 2000. And the list of sites I then saw cannot really be discussed here. :D

I discovered loads of new bands by hearing samples on Amazon and then being 'referred' to others like it. I more than trebled my CD collection as a result.

I really don't remember when exactly my dad decided to get an internet connection, just that it was really slow and dial-up. I was constantly looking at the clock because I didn't want to spend too much of my dad's money. The first site I started visiting regularly was Laziomania, but that was in 2001 and I surely had the net connection before that as well, so sorry... can't remember.

I've been online for some time, can't quite recall when the first time was. I do believe that the first website I ever visited was hotmail.com. Email was really popular at the beginning, and the first thing I wanted to do is get an email adress. :)

Ohhh thanks for reminding me bos! The first time I was online was in elementary school when I was like 12 I believe. Everyone wanted a Hotmail address, so first thing I did was make one. I remember how all the addresses seemed to be taken already and it took me a while to think of one that was available. Hehe
Another site was Bluemountain or something like that. They had all these cool free e-cards. They aren't free anymore I think...

Hello, Nachi88 - I hope I got that right.
To amuse this joke (I know you're not serious-you can't be!) It would depend on what kind of Essay's we're talking here. But, I am a very busy person; ugh, you have no idea! I really can't type as much as i'd like.
Why would I support Germany?
I love Brazil because my brother's favorite player was Ronaldo like forever (now it's Ronaldo and Cristiano and a bunch of others).
Ronaldo was like the first footballer I knew; I've been following him and soccer since I was like 6-7 years old. (To be honest, I thought he was cute and that pursued me to follow him) So, I still like that team because they're simply excellent and they have great guys on the squad. My fav national teams are Brazil and England because I'm half english and I love Italy because I love italians-maybe it's their culture and the way they are, I don't know, but I love Italians!
I also love Spain, France. I am not too familiar with the germans. Of course They're a fantastic team and I know their headliners. They are great and I wouldn't have minded them winning, but I have my own preferences.
Right now, Ronaldinho is my favorite;(see my pen name), along with Ronaldo and Cristiano-yum-yum-yum!
