During the second qualifying round:

Achnas lost 2-1 to Roeselare away.

APOEL tied Trabzonspor 1-1 at Lefkosia. APOEL scored the goal first and lost a penalty, but they could not manage to score.

Omonia and APOEL lost to Litex and Trabzonspor in the away games (2-1 and 1-0).

So Ethnikos Achnas is the only Cypriot club qualified for the 2nd q. round of UEFA cup.
