Un empate a dos goles como visitante ante Mineros de Guayana, permitió esta noche al equipo colombiano Deportes Tolima clasificar a Octavos de Final de la Copa Sudamericana de futbol, donde enfrentará al mexicano Pachuca.

El once colombiano que vio en peligro su clasificación cuando en el primer tiempo se vio abajo en el marcador por dos garrafales errores de su defensa, finalmente pudo anotar a los mineros, cuyo portero detuvo o desvió cuando menos cuatro remates con etiqueta de gol.

Ante un estadio Brigido Iriarte lleno apenas a un tercio de su capacidad de 15 mil localidades en el oeste de Caracas, los equipos líderes en sus respectivos campeonatos se enfrascaron en un duelo abierto, plagado de errores.

Mineros de Guayana se puso arriba en el marcador a los nueve minutos, cuando la defensa colombiana se quedó parada y el brasileño Chad remató en el centro de área el despeje de su portero Salazar.

En el minuto 12 un soberbio remate de pierna derecha del delantero Charría que entró pegado al ángulo derecho de Salazar empató el marcador, que al minuto 23 se colocó 2-1 a favor del equipo local, tras un ingenuo autogol del defensa Cuenú.

Quintero puso el marcador definitivo en el minuto 33 cuando en el área chica remató un largo centro de Vallejo, que dejó pasar una estática defensa guayanesa, y anotó el gol del empate que dio el pase a Tolima, luego que también empataron a cero goles en su casa.

El árbitro ecuatoriano Mauricio Reynoso, quien estuvo acompañado por los ecuatorianos Samuel Haro y Juan Cedeño, amonestó a los venezolanos García y López, así como al colombiano Oscar Briceño.

That means that at the beggining of the tournament there were at least 5 argentinian teams. I presume that brazilian teams get the same number of spots.

El entrenador de San Lorenzo, Oscar Ruggeri, prometió a los jugadores del plantel el obsequio de un automóvil Mini Cooper con valor de 29 mil dólares si ganan la Copa Sudamericana, reveló hoy el diario Clarín.

El incentivo fue propuesto a una semana de que San Lorenzo se enfrente al Toluca de México en los Cuartos de Final del disputado torneo.

De hecho, hay tanta disposición de la dirigencia y buen clima en el equipo, que los jugadores propusieron pagar de su propio bolsillo 800 dólares de diferencia para viajar en primera clase a México y llegar así más descansados.

El optimismo del "Ciclón" se debe a que ya están en las últimas instancias de la Copa Sudamericana y a que siguen disputando los primeros lugares del Apertura del futbol argentino.

Even better that rule about the GRAN FINAL of the Copa Sudamericana having to be played on South American soil would go to hell (2nd game shouldve been in CU last time, instead it was in the Bombonera because of that rule)...they could forced one team to play their home game in South America but that would be real unfair.

In TV in slow motion its easy to say "Hey idiot, how could you commit such a stupid foul" but you have to be in their boots. Eso no lo veo posible...Colo-Colo siempre ha anotado de local y de visita. Incluso cuando partio este grupo en la ultima libertadores, con tecnico nuevo, propuesta tactica nueva y juveniles recien acendidos, logro meterle 3 goles a un Chivas inspirado. Ahora el grupo esta maduro, acostumrado al planteamiento de Borghi y Mati Fernandez anda inspirado, el gol va a venir igual....lo que Pachuca tiene que hacer es:

1) Ganar de local, no desesperarse si el Cacique mete un gol (Como Toluca que pudo por lo menos haber empatado si no hubieran estado tan nerviosos).

2) No hacer faltas ingenuas que puedan llevar a penales o tiros libres (que Mati cambia por gol 1de3).

3) Que no les expulsen ni suspendan a nadie.
