It seems Mancio really does want to try out the 4-3-3. Excellent:) .
Anyone going to any games? I may try and go to the ones against Tottenham or Watford if I have enough cash.

Tottenham beat Inter 2-1. Martins was the scorer for Inter, and :hail: Teemu Tainio was to blame for both of theirs. I was somewhat happy about this, actually, because he is from Finland.
This was a game without the best strikers available so let's not put too much into it.

yes and i was delighted with Maicon and Pizarro's performances and also Dacourt showed good passion but we were only playing one striker Martins and all our style of playinf was on crosses and Martins is 2 short 2 get these crosses.
Cesar gave a good game 2 and Stankovic as always and good 2 see Marino take his chance.

One of our problems last season was relying too much on crosses from Figo and Stankovic. It certainly makes the opponents defenders look very good.

yes cause last season we didn't have that kind of player that can cut from the middle cause the only one who can do so was Adriano and he was 24/7 guided with 2 or sometimes 3 defenders but if we sign Ibrahimovic who is the perfect player 2 cut from the mid defence and also he is tall so can also be useful in the crossing.

Plus the French and English leagues start earlier than Serie A, so they need to be ahead in their fitness regimes. I believe the French actually kick off this weekend.

Just seen Inter beat Porto 3-2. They were 3-0 up until the last few minutes when the game just turned into some sort of fighting contest.
There were some promising things to come out of the game though.
Player by player analysis:
J.Cesar - Solid until he made a right hash of dealing with Adriano's(Porto player) header.
J.Zanetti - Good wherever he featured. And after many years of discussing why Il Capitano could do a good job in the heart of the midfield it seems that Mancini is going to be using him there a fair bit this season.
M.Andreolli - He isn't very composed on the ball, but was solid defensively both at CB and later at RB.
W.Samuel - Made some important blocks, but wasn't at his best. A little slow.
S.Fautario - Attempted some crosses which were quite poor. Decent game though.
D.Pizarro - Was lively in the first half and quite creative. Subbed at half time.
S.Solari - Drifted all over the midfield and was good and energetic in the first half. But faded as the game went on.
E.Cambiasso - A strong game. Tackled and distributed well.
Cesar - Very poor and stupidly got sent off.
O.Martins - Took both of his goals very well with a composure we don't usually see from him.
Adriano - More of the play was going through him than usual and he seemed to thrive on that responsibility. Good game until Mancini shifted him out wide for the last 15.
Subs:
I.Cordoba - Was really out of sorts. Outjumped for Porto's first goal and gave away countless free-kicks.
Maicon - Maybe I was expecting too much after hearing such rave reviews of him, but did little to impress.
D.Marino - Came on to late to do anything.
G.Slavkovski - Same.
L.Choutos - Same.

well good Review by Giorgio. i watched the game and i was very happy 2 see Inter play in such a way untill we got the 3rd goal.Adriano is giving impressions that he want 2 be back in shape and Martins want 2 stay as a starter and this is a good thing i'm watching that every player is giving his best even in these friendlies 2 impress Mancini.
If Inter play this way now then what will happen in Inter's full shape with adding Grosso,Materazzi,Vieira and Figo and maybe a new striker.
i see 100% Materazzi will be a starter and it will be between Cordoba and Samuel next 2 him.
just wait Giorgio Maicon was great against Tottenham and Ajax u just he was tired man.

They better not get rid of him permanantly. Just loan him out or something. i mean like Viera isnt exactly the youngest around.
We have had a pretty poor pre season so far so some wins wouldn't go amiss.
