Entre el Arsenal y el Chelsea está el futuro de Carlos Salcido en el futbol inglés, según confirmó una fuente cercana al propio jugador.

"De esos dos equipos le ha hablado su representante, al parecer lo del Arsenal es más cercano porque durante el Mundial se acercaron a la gente de Chivas, a él le interesa cualquiera de las dos opciones, pero depende de lo que Chivas acepte negociar para que se pueda ir", informó la fuente que pidió el anonimato.

Consultado al respecto, Jorge Vergara, dueño del chiverío, aceptó que están muy cerca de negociar a Salcido al futbol inglés, pero que busca que el defensa y el portero Oswaldo Sánchez, por quien tienen opciones del mercado español, se queden hasta el final de la Copa Libertadores.

"Hay negociaciones ya en camino por Carlos, pero algo cercano de darse será ya hasta que se firme, las pláticas van muy bien, Salcido se puede convertir en el primer jugador del primer equipo de Chivas en salir al futbol de Europa", afirmó Vergara.

"Pero estamos condicionando su salida a que pueda jugar el resto de la Libertadores con nosotros. Queremos que se quede para ser campeones de la Libertadores".

El empresario tapatío aseguró que la operación por Salcido quedaría cerrada en los próximos cinco días, en caso de llegar a un acuerdo con el club interesado.

"Son equipos de primer nivel en Europa, no te puedo decir los nombres todavía, pero son de los protagonistas, de los que están en buena posición de la tabla y en los próximos cuatro o cinco días quedaría algo definido tanto para él como para Oswaldo", agregó.

El representante de Salcido es Eduardo Hernández, el mismo que hizo el contacto para llevar a Carlos Vela al equipo de los Gunners.

El Arsenal dirigido por el francés Arsene Wegner, tiene en la zaga defensiva al francés Pascal Cygan, el inglés Sol Campbell, ambos de 32 años y el primero con posibilidades de salir, además del inglés Ashley Cole de 26, el suizo Philippe Senderos de 21 y al camerunés Etame Lauren de 29, este último junto con Cole como marcadores zurdos.

Yeah this is exactly what we need...Osorio is going to become one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga I'm predicting that since right now, he impressed me that much in the WC.With the speed he posseses he has star written all over him, and not to mention how good he is at handling the ball.His only weakness is his height but he more than makes up for that with his speed and technical ability.At first I thought Salcido was the player that had the best chance of suceeding but now I'm starting to lean towards Osorio.I think Salcido will do well too but I think Osorio will do better.

El tiempo de espera para el jugador de Chivas, Carlos Salcido, llegó a su fin. Este lunes, el club holandés PSV Eindhoven amarró al elemento de Chivas y aparentemente se va por cuatro temporadas.

Así, el defensa se convertirá en el segundo mexicano en emigrar al futbol de Holanda (el primero fue Joaquín del Olmo quien jugó con el Vitesse), lo único que lo separa de la institución son detalles mínimos pero el sueño de jugar en el Viejo Continente por fin se hizo realidad para el elemento del Guadalajara, esta previsto que el martes esté amarrado al 100 por ciento su transferencia y con esto, Salcido podrá incluso jugar la Liga de Campeones en Septiembre próximo.

Su pase se logró gracias al esfuerzo que realizó la Directiva rojiblanca combinada con la recomendación que hizo en su momento el ex técnico del Rebaño, Hans Westerhof para que el nacido en Ocotlán, Jalisco, pueda dar el brinco al otro lado del charco, tal y como deseaba antes del comienzo del Mundial.

Anteriormente había llamado la atención de algunos clubes de Europa en la participación que tuvo con México en la Copa Confederaciones del 2005 disputada en Alemania, en donde confirmó su calidad como futbolista con un gran gol que le anotó al cuadro de Argentina en una jugada personal, en la ronda de Semifinales aunque el Tri no pasó a la siguiente fase.

El Vicepresidente de Chivas, Néstor de la Torre, espera que este jueves por fin pueda oficializar el traspaso del arquero Oswaldo Sánchez al Getafe de España, negociación que se encuentra en un 90 por ciento de avance.

"Todo parece indicar que mañana será un día especial e importante para Oswaldo Sánchez, porque quizás ya podamos cerrar la negociación, todo está bastante adelantado, ya hay acuerdos pero falta acordar otros que espero este mismo jueves se resuelvan. Las posibilidades son muy altas de llegar a un buen final, pero no quiero adelantarme en ese sentido hasta no tener firmado el contrato", mencionó el Directivo en un tono que denotaba mucha seguridad.

Chivas y Oswaldo tienen todo a favor, ya que "el técnico (del Getafe, Bernd Schuster) está presionando a su Directiva para que sea Oswaldo el portero que lleven al equipo y eso es muy importante, porque la palabra del técnico siempre pesa y eso ha sido un punto a tomar en cuenta para que se puedan dar las cosas, así que todo va por buen camino y es cuestión de unos detalles para que tengamos todo listo", siguió De la Torre.

Uno de los puntos a tratar este jueves muy temprano, es conseguir con el Getafe que les preste a Oswaldo Sánchez para enfrentar el partido de vuelta de los Cuartos de Final de la Copa Libertadores, ante Vélez Sarsfield de Argentina y además las Semifinales, petición a la cual se ha negado hasta el momento el Getafe.

Misma situación se dio en el traspaso de Carlos Salcido al PSV Eindhoven de Holanda, la misma petición fue hecha por parte de Chivas y el club holandés no estuvo de acuerdo, tema que retrazó un poco el fichaje del nativo de Ocotlán, Jalisco.

De hecho en el tema contractual casi está todo dicho, si en este momento se cerrará la negociación, Oswaldo se iría a préstamo por dos temporadas, es decir, dos años. En el tema de intercambios de jugadores, de participación de ambas instituciones en sus respectivos torneos internacionales que realicen, también todo está arreglado.

En el sueldo del jugador faltan algunos detalles, pero parece no habrá ningún problema en llegar a un acuerdo, pues De la Torre le ha dicho a los dirigentes españoles cuanto gana Sánchez Ibarra al mes.

Here in mexico if Im not mistaken they show on espn a dutch game per week early in the morning on sunday, right before a match from the italian league.

My favorite league is the spanish one so Im glad they show a lot of games from la liga in both espn and espn2

but now Im looking forward to see some psv games and also the sttugart games although that is going to be difficult because sttugart is not a top team in the german league but as u know the market is what decides what to show so in this case there is going to be better for the channel to broadcast a sttugart vs hertha than a hamburg vs borussia dortmund

ok heres the thing, the team presidents made a rule stating that any tema that transfers a seleccionado can sign a new player to take his spot on the roster. so if chivas loses any player they can sign a player to replace him.

Its hard to say whats the deal with Aaron galindo for 2 reasons.....

1-Cruz azul "alledgely" gave him money and support during his ban, leading THEM to believe that galindo would show loyalty and stay. then again, who really knows if its true....

2-We all know how corrupt the team officials are. what if there just making this up and are pissed off that galindo didnt re-sign so they could make MILLIONS off of HIM.

IMO, im glad he did what he did. from what ive read, Cruz Azul officials are assholes. why do you think that several of there players havent signed abroad?

"Lo preocupante es que Racing se desespere y busque otra opción, eso no sería benéfico para mí en lo deportivo, buscaré hablar con Jorge (Vergara) directamente para ver qué piensa de mí, qué quiere de mí y qué se puede ver para adelante", aseguró.

Este hecho ha provocado la inconformidad de Bravo, quien incluso ya ha platicado con el técnico José Manuel "Chepo" de la Torre, pero aún así, la directiva sigue poniendo trabas para que deje la institución.

"Ya hablé con `Chepo" en Nueva York, en Argentina volvía hablar con él, está en la mejor disposición, la verdad es que las condiciones están dadas, no sé cuáles son las pretensiones de Guadalajara, pero la mesa está puesta para salir", subrayó.

El atacante, quien anotó de dos goles en el primer partido de la selección mexicana en Alemania 2006, puntualizó que "siempre lo he dicho, tengo que respetar la decisión de Jorge (Vergara), pero falta voluntad para que pueda salir".

El goleador del conjunto tapatío reconoció que aún tiene un contrato con Chivas de Guadalajara, que está obligado a cumplir, pero él está dispuesto a renunciar a lo monetario con tal de salir a España.

"Esa es mi realidad, tengo contrato por dos años más con Chivas, pero uno siempre busca las opciones para salir, pero no sé cómo me quedaría, no es problema económico, sólo me estoy desesperando porque han dado largas al asunto", señaló.

El fichaje por parte del Benfica del internacional mexicano Francisco Fonseca "Kikin" ocupa hoy las primeras páginas de la prensa deportiva lusa y es citado en los boletines de la radio y de la televisión portugueses.

"A Bola" destaca en primera página la imagen del mexicano en un momento de júbilo, e inserta un gran titular: "Benfica contrata mexicano Fonseca".

Según este diario, Fonseca "es uno de los jugadores más populares y mejor cotizados del futbol mexicano" y resalta su "espíritu batallador".

El rotativo comenta que este fichaje puede "complicar" el negocio del internacional luso Simao Sabrosa con el Valencia, porque "cierra la puerta" de la transferencia para el Benfica del italiano Di Vaio.

El diario "Record" también destaca la foto del internacional mexicano con el titular "Fonseca en el Benfica, en Alemania marcó el gol a Ricardo", e informa que el delantero llega hoy a Lisboa para firmar un contrato "por 3 ó 4 temporadas".

Según la fuente, el dirigente del Benfica, José Veiga, estuvo tres meses en negociaciones con Fonseca y aprovechó que éste se quedó en Alemania con toda la familia, después del Mundial, para llegar a un acuerdo primero con el jugador y después se trasladó a México, para cerrar las negociaciones con el Cruz Azul.

De cualquier forma el numero de mexicanos que se ha ido a europa es bastante considerable. Nunca antes habian ido tantos jugadores a Europa. Y honestamente esta copa del mundo no fue de lo mejor que han hecho comparado con otras copas. La diferencia es que parece que los equipos y los jugadores mexicanos estan mas dispuestos a negociar y los equipos europeos ya vienen siguiendo a los jugadores desde tiempo atras y no solo en un gran torneo.

En ese sentido es muy bueno que mexico ya lleve tiempo jugando la copa america y copa libertadores porque ha podido demostrar que tiene buen nivel para competir y se ha estado cercas de ganar ambos torneos aunque aun no se ha logrado.

Los mismos comentaristas argentinos reconocen el nivel de futbol mexicano. El otro dia en el partido de Velez vs Chivas hicieron muchos comentarios positivos acerca de Mexico. Eso no era muy normal de oirse.

Ahora los jugadores que se fueron tienen que dar buenas actuaciones para que eso motive a los clubs a traer todavia mas jugadores.

Creo que los registros en Europa se cierran hasta el 30 de agosto u entonces todavia se podria dar la salida de un jugador mexicano mas lo cual seria bastante bueno.

El delantero mexicano Omar Bravo llegará la próxima semana para enlistarse con el Racing de Santander, de la Liga Española, de esta manera el cuadro cántabro cierra una contratación que venía complicándose y que en cierto momento estuvo a punto de caerse.

El Presidente del cuadro español, Francisco Pernía, informó mediante un comunicado, que todavía harán lo posible para contratar otro hombre de ataque que acompañe a David Aganzo y al propio Bravo.

La llegada de Omar Bravo depende de la actuación que tenga su equipo Guadalajara el próximo miércoles ante el Sao Paulo, dentro de la Copa Libertadores de América.

La mirada de los Directivos del Racing siguen puestos en el futbol mexicano ya que todavía quieren traer al delantero argentino Emanuel Villa que juega en el equipo Atlas. El que ya quedó casi descartado es el centro delantero mexicano Jared Borgetti, según el comunicado.

Aunque no se informó la manera en que Racing de Santander se había hecho de los servicios de Omar Bravo, es probable que se trate de una compra definitiva, ya que el Presidente del club mexicano, Jorge Vergara, no quería otro tipo de arreglo.

Bravo participó con la Selección Mexicana y fue anotador de tres goles durante la pasada Copa del Mundo de Alemania 2006. Juega la posición de ataque cargado al lado derecho y cuenta con 26 años de edad.

Me off course going to be seing him play being Iam a Benfica fan and watch most of there games in the Portuguese league and any outside comps and friendlies. Last year Benfica went to the semis of the European champions league losing out to Barca who went on the win the champions league beating Arsenal. Hopefully Fonseca finds good form Portugal with Benfica
