Cassano was a fantastic player, its a shame he and Cappello had conflict. The fact of the matter is we don't have him now and Cassano and Totti were as deadly a duo as there is in the world of football.

Does anyone see young Aquilani as being a star in the near future? An assitant to Totti would put us back in a position to fight it out with the Milans and Juve.

If the teams who are being investigated are relegated, you can expect an exodus of fantastic players from the teams being punished. Roma would have to be one of the first choices behind Inter for those who aren't being moved to Chelsea since they are signing everyone. Pirlo and Gilardino in particular would be long term investments and with Totti getting older we need some younger blood.

Aquilani is great and he is showing the marks of a next big star in Roma, but u can't just rely on him he's still young and need someone 2 help him.
i dont think that Milan can sell Gila i mean they just bought him for a big amount of money and he's still young so he can stay.
Why dont Roma go for unhappy Iaquinta,he wants a move and i see nothin stoppin them from gettin him.

I agree, Iaquinta would be a good contributor for a few years while some of the younger players blossom. He has good speed and made an impact for the World Champion Azzuri.

Are you aware of the results of the scandal? I haven't read anything but I haven't had a chance. From what I hear players from the teams that are punished get their contracts terminated and are free to sign with whomever that want. That was the scenario in which I mentioned Gila coming to Roma.
