The "ban" was because FIFA wanted the sports law amended in Greece not because of any corruption. FIFA wanted the Greek Soccer Federation to be independent of the government, which now has occured. But, its up to FIFA now...

The ban was officially lifted today.
lol what a joke, why would they ban the winner of the competition in 04 from 08? Greece has nothing to do with corruption at all dude, maybe just luck in 04 :lol:

The possible ban had no relation with Euro 2004. The whole thing was about the involvement of the goverment in the Hellenic Football Federation issues.
