First off all I really dont believe in the least Holland is better than Portugal in any way shape or form, they have without doubt better WC history, but today right now at this very moment I dont seem them better than Portugal. Sure they may lose to Holland but its every bit as possible that holland will lose to Portugal, I think what unables this mentality of Holland being better is their WC pedegree it certainly dosent come from owning Portugal in any way what so ever. Argentina I believe is a better team only from what i been seeing off their play but Portugal should give a good account of themself against either team. Yes Iam looking forward to this game with Portugal/Mexico should be a good game.

He was too busy getting knocked out of Euro U21, at home, in the first round, against two teams that couldn't even get to the final. Many thanks to Agostinho Oliveira for stealing him and Hugo Almeida and the other kids for that wonderful show he put.

We must have been watching a different game. What I saw in the first game was him creating at least 4 direct goal opportunities, which Pauleta and Ronaldo squandered. Plus there were those freekicks he won by "diving" that Ronaldo blew over the goal.

Or do you mean he didn't appear much against Iran? Let me remind you that he only played 3 minutes in that match. He must really suck for not scoring in that time :rolleyes:

Boa Morte is better then simao.Do you ever watch him playing in fulham?
Also to hat trick 3, simao was awful against angola, he lost nearly every ball when he tryed to dribble.I think benfica should sell him quick while is outrageously high price is still available.

yeah I figured as much, being I never heard about many Portuguese living over there in Arizona (in general) you will find them all in the east coast or in parts of California. Where iam from Bro there is a huge Portuguese population very close to half a million and let me tell you you cant cant drive in some areas after a Portugal Win because its a Sea of red and green MAn its pretty awesome down here when Portugal Wins or simply the whole WC environment is super, being Toronto is one of the most multicultural cities in the world its one big party town come WC. IF you where here Bro you wouldnt believe your eyes you would think your where dap in the middle of LISbon after a Win. Yeah its mostly Mexicans down there and in most states its like the vast majority of immigrants there everywhere you go in the US there lots of Mexicans. I really don't like Nuno Gomes (SPORTIIING!) but he allways scores decisive goals at the right time in NT games. Like in euro 2000, he scored the last goal on the 3-2 against England, and in 2004 the 1-0 against Spain.

All i know is that Mexico is neither better than portugal, nor as good as they think they are. I won´t say they suck, but they are an averge team far from winning the World cup.

Anyway, I think Portugal controlled the game.

I enjoyed watching Mexico play. I think they played with a lot of heart and had a number of good chances to score. Definitely their best game so far. It was exciting to watch.

congrats to Portugal, great win. Mexico played better with ten men than with 12, who knows why? Marquez had his worst game so far, giving away a penalty, and I think it was a wrong call to send off Perez, but thats just my opinion.
