Playing as they did Angola, i fear they'll be all gone soon enough, anyway. But I'll miss some of them (mostly UNAM and Bernardo), they had a few interesting POVs I enjoyed reading, not only about the Mexican NT, but other teams as well.

this is kind of what happened with mexico yesterday,they dominated but couldnt finish....in this case deco was the only one to finish but portugal could be winning 3-0.i looked at the stats and portugal has 14 shots on goal while iran only has 3.

Nice ref. Thanks to him, Deco, Costinha and Pauleta will most likely have to be spared against Mexico, or risk not playing in round 2. I loved it when he said Figo was just complaining about his face-bruise and refused to take action, and then booked Deco right after for doing the same thing.

Really, it'd have been better for both teams if he stopped whistling all the time for undetermined reasons and actually booked those few fouls that deserved it. Couldn't he take a hint when both Iranian and Portuguese fans started booing him in unison?

Though Iam Sure Portugal will be trying to nail down first place in this group, I still believe they wont go all out against Mexico as to risk Injuries to players. Iam sure they will no doubt play to win yeah but not try and kill themselves in doing so. Anyway Should be an interesting game with Mexico, being Portugal is already locked to go into second round there desire or need to win wont be as high.
