Thank you Serbian fans for the recognition. We had a high precision offense, with guys who rarely have scoring chances attacking and scoring great goals (Maxi Rodriguez twice? Cambiasso? who would have thought?), plus we all saw the Serbian defense was quite disorganized. I watched the game with a Serbian friend as planned, it was bittersweet as he watched his team falling apart. Anyway, that's the way this game is...

Thanks but we Argies shouldn't be overconfident. It was only a game in the qualy round. Of course we are happy the team worked like a well-oiled machine, but these blowout scores are not usual and expecting to blow the competition just like that would be grossly unrealistic. Let's give it the value it has: a very nice win showing great potential for the future.

I would not say that Serbia suck. However, they were simply blown away by the Argies. That second goal by Cambiasso was out of this world and can simply end up being the best goal of the tournament when the competion is done with. Argentina simply had the pace, the flair, the passing and the killer instinct that Serbia did not seem to have.

The only Serbian player I will take my hat off to is that sub Ljuboja. He was the only player in that team to be making all the efforts to make a difference but at the end of the day, one man does not make a team.

Those players knew before the game started that they can not score and when they went down 1-0 they knew their hopes were gone and gave up.

Plus I think the ref was a little too hard on him. Looks like the refs are sending off players after any sliding hit. That's going too far. In this case the field was a little wet, it was easy to miss an honest fight-for-possession play and hit the rival instead.

And yellowing Crespo for continuing a scoring play which wasn't even an offside? C'mawnnnn...

I have to agree with you there mate. I wasn't too impressed with that ref either. He was making stoppages over every incident in my opinion but Kezman's sending off and Crespo's booking were out of order. The way its going, football is going to turn into a non-contact sport if it carries on like this.

Yes we lost the game, yes it was 6-0. SO WHAT? It's a game, it happens, get over it. Serbian circumstances is the reason Serbs cannot win in soccer. How can you win with fans who BOO the anthem? How? Why do they boo the anthem? Because our corrupt management is playing us a Communist/Yugoslav anthem that no one respects. Serbia cannot have a good soccer team while virtually every aspect of society is corrupt. The leagues are fixed, the competition is almost non-existent and our players are as a result not ready. Most leave for foreign teams to be the towel boys, and naturally cannot give their 100% to the national team out of fears of getting injured and having Man U. toss them out of the window. If they played in a strong Serbian league, their clubs would encourage them to play with all their power for Serbia not to “save themselves” like Dejan Stankovic is doing with Inter. Do you think Inter owners give a flying ***k for Serbia in the World Cup? They want Stankovic to be 100% ready for their league games, and it shows he plays at 50% for Serbia.

Look to the future and stop dwelling on the past. Look at the positive aspects of this tournament, like qualifying ahead of Spain and shutting up the Serb-hating Bosnians in Belgrade that night. That was probably the best night of my life! We qualified for the World Cup in style, and we lost without it, but that's how it goes.

What needs to get done is the coach and players need to be replaced. Only the subs, and very young players should stay. The management who didn't allow Rambo Petkovic to play should also be arrested, not only taken off. I can write an essay on this, but there is no point. Only time will tell.
