I am comeing from Slovenija and i am the biggest Zlatko Zahoviè fan. Since few days ago I became a Benfica fan. I think Benfica did a tremendou job to bring home our excelent player Zlatko Zahoviè. After a disastrous season we riched time to get big again. We must take a championship this year and get on the rout of big old Benfica from Eusebio's times!

I red right now, he is doing amasing things on training. I thing the realy his place to play is Portugal. I hope he will continue doing so.

5th august for the Eusebio Cup
Zahovic and Dudic are doing amazing stuff at the training.
The benfica fans are amazed and believe again in
a championship title with this team.
Zahovic is already the mascot of the team with a few others.
They arrived this season and are already loved by the fans.

fantasticly served by SupaZahovic....

They could have won 3-1 but Zahovic missed a penalty...
Anyway...the team seems to be back like in old times (till now)

They showed 20 minutes of high class football; something that
the red eagles fans didn't see for years....

Zaho was not in his best days but he played a good game.
He was the one with Mantorras who started the goal
action and gave the ball to Argel who scored.
The whole team need 2 weeks to be 100 per cent ready.

Zaho gave another superb ball to Mantorras but this one missed.
He had also an occasion of scoring but missed.

It was a good game without a lot of goals but Zaho, Drulovic,
and Mantorras are working on their counter-attack skills.

They seems to have a lot of fun playing together with a
SupaZaho who is always joking and a Mantorras who plays
with the enemy like a cat with a mouse.

Oh yeah. Great this Mantorras. An excelent young player. I've seen the match vs. Feyanord. What a game he played. A great future in front of him.

The championship is starting this saturday for the eagles.
They will play against Alverca without Simao.
Argel is playing because he got his license in time.

Mantorras is 19 years old and has as you sais a great future
in front of him.
I'm very happy to have him in Benfica because he gives
a lot of style and trust to the team.
Zaho will play just behind him with the help of Argel.
As I said the team needs 2 more weeks to be at 100 per cent
and the championship is going to make them improve very
fast.

Our Supazaho was injuried for 2 games but he will
be back at 100% for the game on saturday.

Benfica will also change their sponsor which was a deal between Telecel and Vodafone, to only Vodafone.

Vodafone will be the only brand on our beautiful shirts like the world known Manchester United.

This was the title of the newspaper (record) in portugal after the reds playes against Gil Vincente.
The eagles won 2-0.
A goal from Mawete Junior 50' and Fernando Meira (capt.) 81'.

Zahovic tried his chance at the 26' and 35' forcing the keeper to 2 excellent saves.
Zaho was changed at the midtime because he is not yet at 100%
after his injury.
It's better kkep him for greater games.

The reds did a good game and showed sometimes a great football equivalent to todays top teams. With Zaho getting time after time better, Drulovic forgetting his injuries, Mantorras the keeperkiller and the new arrival Mawete Junior...the reds are in a good mood to follow on with the wins.

Benfica is now on the 2 place with 17 points followed by Porto with 16 points. The leader is still the portugese champion Boavista with 22 points.

The eagles won on Friday evening against Farense. Final score was 0-2. It was the first outside win since 8 months.
Benfica is on now on 2nd place of the championship with 20 points leaded by Boavista with 22. Porto follows Benfica with 19 points.
Simao seems to get better and better after a few hard months on the starting grid. He was the man of the match on scoring the first goal.
