This will be an easy one, even for Mexico. All u have to do is make sure ur brazilian player plays the whole game and angola should cause no threat.

Just shut the ***k up ricoo...Deco, Zlatan, Trezeguet, plus like 40 other naturalized players are playing in the World Cup.The hosts have like 4 and I dont see u bitching about it.By the way that dude Bravo who sits atop the goals scored chart, he's 100% Mexican.Marquez our best player, the same.I mean if the naturalized players were key players for us u could talk, but they are nothing but decent role players.Franco has been playing like crap and although Sinha played well he had been playing like crap as well which is why he has been relegated to the bench.

BTW I agree with bernardo, Mexico wins 2-0.

yea completely right. zinha is the most important player in the whole mexican team. i mean he scored a goal and one assist. in his goal he did everything, i mean nobody had to do with the goal, not even mario mendez who crossed the ball, and in the assist he did everything i mean the goalie and the defender were playing great and zinha did everything, omar bravo had nothing to do with it.

HAHHAHA GET ***KING REAL HE WONT PLAY THE WHOLE GAME AND MEXICO WILL STILL WIN

If Angola plays defensive again, try to score at least once. Force them to recognize they have to risk it eventually to win a match.

mexico play 99% of their games against teams of angolas quality so they know how to beat these teams. Its just when they come up against mediocre european teams and better they start getting their asses kicked.

Angola is very weak

Argentina played a friendly a week before the Cup and they were not good even as a sparring

So I am doubting seriously now about Portugal's strenght, after their poor minimal victory against Angola

México could very well win the group, they have been serious rivals in all the several recent matches against Argentina

I prefer Portugal for an eventual eightfinal opponent

Mexico should win this match altough they shouldn't get overconfident because that might be their downfall. They should have into consideration that by beating Angola, mathematically they are in the next round. It is proven that there is no more 'weak' teams anymore. Just look at Trinidad Tobago's game. Their real match will be with Portugal. I can't wait for that game. I just hope La Volpe uses Zihna for the second half again since he is not fully recovered just yet. Since Borgetti is hurt right now and won't play till probably second round (if they go the next round) Bravo and Kikin should do fine on top. If the time calls too, I hope Guardado has some play time. That is a kid with lots of talent!

You might be correct, but one thing you will never se the Mexican national team do is quit after the first 10 minutes of a hard fought game like the US National Team did against the Czech Republic.

Mexico should win this but things have complicated with Borgetti out. He's tall, and can establish himself a bit more physically than Bravo. Fonseca will have to assume that role now. Angola will most likely try to frustrate the Mexican team and force them to make mistakes.

3-1

BTW, all these "baby" DiCanio wannabes are a crack up. They go out of their way to speak on things that they know nothing about.

its unpredictable, all depends on the amount of shit players the coach puts on the field.

if scolari puts tiago, simao, viana or boa morte then we will play for losing only 3-0 or 4-0 with argentina.

hahaha just as i was reading this again i saw this on the net

Desconoce Camoranesi himno italiano

please dont warn me, ill put a summary of it. ahahahahh u bitch about naturalized players, what about camoranesi that plays for italy??? huh? he doesnt even know the italian national anthem (admitted by him) i mean he even says that he does know the argentinian national anthem and that he is only italian in the WC. i mean at least guille and zinha have pride for mexican team.

oh and about zinha, he came to mexico even before he was at first division, hes done his whole career here. he met his wife here, and has a family now. and im pretty sure about it cuz the city where i live used to have a second division team that zinha played for before being transfered to rayados. and his family still lives here

Dude Guille es un boludo, and he shows gratitude not pride for Mexico cuz obviously he would never be able to play for the Argentiina's NT (cuz his talent is too low for their level yet he's #10 in Mexico    ), in Argentina he'd just be a parrillero!!!!

This forum is depressing. All these complainers know nothing about the game.

The nice thing is that in the WC, regardless of what group the teams are in, eventually they all get weeded out and only the best remain. Yes Mexico will get weeded out, however they do not suck shit. The US sucks shit. Even Mexico would've done something against CR. Not win, but i dont think they would've been destroyed the way they did US.

The teams can all be lumped into tiers. Brazil, Germany, Italy...etc at the top, then teams like Spain, Portugal, England...etc, 3rd tier would have emerging teams like Mexico, Nigeria, S. Korea... the US would be 4th or below that.

The thing that cracks me up is that people believe the US will someday win something. They will never win a WC ever. In 20 years the US will be better than they are today, but just think how much better teams like Brazil will be! Relativity is a bitch.

I expect Mexico to win this game same as I predicted their win over Iran, just because of the experience factor not necessarily b/c Mexico is the better team.
As I also expected Iran commited a silly mistake that cost them dearly and probably Angola will do the same. I keep wondering when is Mexico going to face a real team??!!! I know when, in the second round where they ALWAYS get eliminated b/c their poor level.

If Mexico can not beat Angola or worst yet if they lose, WOW they'll be in serious trouble b/c Portugal will smoke them. Seriously if Mexico does not make it out of this grop will be incredibly embarrasing. I see so many Mexicans laughing at the US but honestly how would Mexico would have fared in such a difficult group?? Anyway I guess we'll never know that since Mexico always get the easy groups.

I have to agree with the other comment about Univision, terrible, all of them, except for Chilavert. Fernando Fiore is the biggest whore there, got that job cuz his wife is a big time producer (lame and sell out to the Mexicans), and the Mexican commentators and pbp dudes are horrid, unfortunately ABC and ESPN coverage had not fare that much better, I mean they keep bringing anything about the US team like every 30 seconds, not cool when the game has nothing to do with them, plus they are even add political comments, I mean WTF, Wynalda is a sham. Today he slammed England for thier poor showing, and although I agree, England has 6 points already so he really needs to STFU.

But the worst of the worst is that show on Fox Sports "Camino a Alemania" I think the name is, I mean I was really puking in front of the tv set. That Jorge Ramos is an idiot, and the Mexican commentator is a low life classless dude, annoying as hell, I feel bad for the Argentinian guy, his face speaks volumes, he's probably wonders every night after the show if it's worthy to keep up with so much crap.

The only funny thing was the last email the Mexican dude read inadvertedly when he quoted some dude trashing Costa Rica, cuz they lost to Barbados in the qualies!!! They immedtiately went to commercials, hahaha, I mean Concacrap is a joke. If a team loses to Barbados, they should be banned from apperaing in a WC for 50 yrs at least. Concacrap should not even exist, I insist all the Americas should merge.

I believe Mexico has grown a lot in this World Cup. The first half of the game against Iran the players they were just testing the grass. In the second half they showed up as a solid team expecially with Zinha. As soon as he came into the field balls inside the Iran defense were coming continiously. Tomorrow Mexico will win again against Angola.
Mexico it is becoming a Big Squad for the future. Big teams like Brazil, Italy, Argentina they don't need to show in making 4 goals or 5 and play desperately. Big teams they play in an intelligent way, expecially in the opening game. Big teams save their resources and players because there are many games ahead.
Ahead for Mexico there will be England, Sweden, Argentina, Germany.
I honestly believe Mexico will make to the quarterfinals at least.
They are also a much better team than Portugal.

I think De La Volpe he made a big mistake in not bringing into the World Cup a player like Blanco, expecially when you don't have many choices and talents in that part of the field. I honestly believe that it was a personal thing against Blanco.

Make notes because what I say it is going to become true.

FYI andres cantor is the most famous soccer commentator in the US, he is argentinan and he is the one that made the "GOOOLL" famous here, he worked for Univision and now works for telemundo (because he didnt want to sell out to mexican crap...he should set an example for all those whores like jorge ramos and Fiore) and is also having games here in the radio. THEY HAD CROATIA, ITALY, AND ECUADOR, AND THEY MADE IT OUT 1ST.

I DONT REMEMBER BACK TO 98 BUT I HEAR SEVERAL MEXICANS SAYING THEY HAD A DEATH GROUP ASWELL.

ANYWAY, TO COMMENT ON THE GAME:

I HOPE MEXICO WIN THIS GAME AND MANAGE THERE POINTS WELL. ITS IN THERE BEST INTEREST TO AVOID HOLLAND SINCE THEY PLAYED A FRIENDLY RECENTLY. I KNOW FRIENDLYS MEAN NOTHING BUT I THINK THEY WOULD HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF BEATING ARGENTINA.

ONLY BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT THEY PLAYED IN THE CONFEDERATIONS CUP AND LOST IN PENALTIE KICKS. I TIHNK MEXICO WANT TO AVENGE THAT AND WOULD HAVE LOTS OF PASSION TO DO IT.

It's obvious you know little about soccer. Great powers don't care about Confed Cup, they show up and never play at its best -mainly cuz risk of injury- yet evenlike that they win. But anyway, Mexico's best soccer generation IMO was 98's, the difference is back then they weren't as full of themselves as they are now (God knows why since Mexico hasn't won anything really). In Korea/Jpn they played in an overrated group, besides Italy always takes it easy in the first round, it was Ecuador's first WC and Croatia, well, I mena can u really call that Group of Death?

I guess you did not see Argentina's game today. I hope when u see the highlights later today you relize Mexico will NEVER be in the same level. Argentina is light years ahead of Mexico, I hope they play each other in the next round so Argentina confirms my statements. Mexico has no talent compared to Argentina. These are a few players that Mexican players simply can not be compared to: Messi, Crespo, Tevez, Saviola, probably the entire NT. It will be a massacre, prediction Argentina 5 Mexico 1.

I really hope MExico faces Argentina, I see all u people thinking u have a chance against the argies. Guess what Argentina just beat a way better team (Serbia) 6-0. Cant wait to see mexico get killed.

Dude, did u see that. I mean how can a dirty Mexican think now they can compare themselves against Argentina. I'm gonna pull for Mexico today so they face Argentina the next round so they get creamed!!!

Just about every player from Argentina is 100 times better than ANY player from Mexico (even counting their "natural" players). hahahahahhaha

Dirty Mexican huh?

LOL!

Funny as ever aint ya?!

Look. Simply becuase neither you nor your falsely elitest countrymen can compete on this stage is no reason start hurling the insults.

Americans, the pitbulls of the planet, hehehe!

Handjob you're truely a work of art. I love your talk about Mexican gene inferiority. Especially since all of your greatest athletes are from a group of people your country has been systematically oppressing for the last few hundred years.

And as for Argentina, of course we have no chance, but at least we'll play them better than the US would.

Like I said before, you all really need to get over this sense of entitlement.

By the way, your mom Marge Schott wants you home.

Group of Death or not what the USA is doing is a complete joke, I mean even T&T has represented our region better and thats sad...Mexico has a more accessible group but that's what being seeded gets u.And wether u think they are a Top 8 team or not doesnt matter, what matters is the system FIFA uses to determine those seeded teams and going by it Mexico deserves it.Holland is a better team but they werent in the WC in 02, some people thought the USA should get it over Mexico but they forget that they finished dead last in France 98 and now theyre proving that they definitely didnt deserve it.

And for those uninformed fools, Mexico up until this WC really has never had easy groups:

2002
Italy...u complain that they take it easy?Well the USA has them too so does that diminish that group as well?
Croatia...finished 3rd in 98', played Brasil very well this time.
Ecuador...weakest team but no slouch.

1998
Holland...ended up finishing 4th.
Belgium...everyone expected them to pass alongside Holland.
South Korea...weakest team.

1994
Italy
Ireland
Norway

And not only do we barely sneak in we finished first in two of these WCs...now in the end we do indeed end up losing in the 2nd round but I'd rather lose there then end up looking like a joke and go out in the 1st round like the USA will.

i think angola is going to be more of a problem than people are giving them credit for. I think mexico will win 2-1 but angola may surprise everyone with the first goal.

then mexico will loose to portugal 2-1, possibly 3-1 and then get destroyed by argentina in the next round.

Uhh, maybe because that particular handball was very clear and stopped a possible counterattack...none of the other handballs were intentional, that one was.If u didnt notice Angola had more than just that handball, a couple inside the box actually, but the ref didnt call them because they werent intentional. The same with some of Mexico's handballs.

Anyways. Back to the footie.

Portugal barely squeeked by the end product of their banana republic so that hardly means Mexico is going to be a push over. Plenty of opportunities for us but no finishing touch. A terrible result for Mexico. Angola gets to linger and we'll see how Portugal does tomorrow. Iran realizes at this point that its all mathmatics so we'll have a better Idea of how things will end up tomorrow.

Frustrating and ugly game. Does not look well for us even if we go into the next round.

Portugal SHOULD HAVE whipped 'em good. they didnt. Angola could've tied it but they didnt. Mexico was expected to take em, they didnt...etc.

True, Portugal is a better team then Mexico. Yes we were up one man for a decent amount of time but as your team, England, and now Mexico have learned. Knocking in goals is not always easiest when the backfield is stocked.

Lets not get overly sensitive about this boys. We should all be happy. The Port-Mex game actually means something now. You honestly dont believe Portugal is gonna have a cakewalk over Mexico do you?

And they attacked us?Dude I dont know if u saw the game but they used that same tactic they used against Portugal against us...basically defend and hope to get a tie.You guys made one of ur chances, we didnt make any of ours.I dont see much of a difference.

Regarding the play with the handball...we are talking about the one were the player got his second yellow card and was thrown out right? If so check a replay or something buddy, if that ball goes through there is a Mexican player on the right in full sprint ready to launch a counterattack. Also I dont know what the hell u are talking about with Marquez being in his own box, are u serious? He was almost at the mid-field line, again watch a replay or something.

Anyways we tied a former colony, we beat another former colony in that same stadium 6 months ago (Brasil)...what does that have to do with Portugal?Just like u I could easily say we beat Brasil, what chance does the weaker motherland stand but that is just stupid logic. All games have to be played because they are unpredictable, cause if everything goes according to logic then we should just give Brasil the cup and go home cause they are the clear favorites.

Dude u r so right. That ref was either ultra biased or a total moron. Terribly one sided, all the Mexicans did was dive the entire game, I'm being serious, I know Mexicans will not see it that way but that's how it happened. All ur players dove esp. Franco and Marquez.

I hope next time all those ultra annoying fans STFU when chanting "ole, ole" in the first minute of play (totally classless BTW).

Mexico completely sucked, I mean they have faced the two weakest teams in the entire WC and won one game by pure luck and now layed this ranchero egg.

Can all Mexican fans please stop comparing their lousy team to Argentina?

Hats off to Angola for hanging in there against Group D's "seeded" team. When I made my pick for that match I was COMPLETELY forgetting the Jared Borgetti wouldn't be playing in it. I'm not sure how potent México's offense is without him in there. I mean, they had chances in that match to put Angola away, but as everyone saw, they weren't able to convert them. If J. Borgetti can't play the rest of this tournament, then I'm not sure just how far México can get in it. Angola still has a (slim) chance of advancing, does it not? I know it needs to beat Iran and hope for a victory by Portugal over México, but I don't think that's entirely out of the question. I guess we'll find out what happens.

Side note: this group has the two teams whose uniforms I like the most - Angola (their first choice kit) and Portugal (man, what I'd give for one of those wine-colored jersey right now!!).

Dam, now I know why you said that! I did not know handofgod hated Mexicans that much, I think a Mexican dude rapped handofgod and that's why he hates Mexicans so much.

Apparently, cause there really is no other explanation for his attitude towards Mexico that at times even turns into racism...

Apparently you Mexicans found that pretending to be Italians nobody will notice it. That's the second Mexican posing as Italian last couple of days...I wonder why?!!! Because ur flags look alike??!!

U ppl are truly sad, how come all the sudden you are changing the subject so blatantly after the Angola game. As a matter of fact it took u about 24hrs to recup from that game cuz you guys were MIA.

Can't imagine how it will be once u r out but some ppl are already betting on what nationality you will adopt. The bets favor Brazil for now. But please be more inventive next time and not so obvious like Caruiz93 who pretended to pass as an Italian saying his favorite team was Cruz Azul!!!:faint2: :Pound: :Pound: man keeps getting better, and with an AC Milan avatar :Pound: :Pound: Do you think people in Italy even know about that team, they will probably confuse the name first with a healthcare provider!!!:Pound: :Pound:

Maybe ur name could be "Unamixinho" after all beaner con frejolada shoild get along just fine.

Well u would have to ask them dude...if they are Mexicans it is weak to do this, it sure as hell aint me though I'll tell u that.

And who are u to say this crap anyways?Remember when u were trying to pass off as an Argentinian? Also I see tons of Portugal fans that all of a sudden are trashing Mexico, should I assume its u or ricoo?

Hahaha, well u are right I did that shit cuz I did feel bad how u were trashing Ricoo cuz he said either his mom or dad were from Peru and all of you ganged against him with very low shit comments u posted an knew u were going to do the same but I was tired of your bs anyway, after all just as Ricoo I'm American with Peruvian and Spanish roots (rico's are Italian and even then u found a way to thrash Italian soccer -how dared u I just don't know-, yet u don't find me talking about how Spanish soccer is 1000 better than Mexico's, plus Peru does have world class players unlike you MFs. But the point is not about my country or were my roots are or ricoo's or about any other country. I'm telling u here in the US is absolutely disgusting how u guys overhype ur team, that's the point, see again for the millioth time it'd be different if your team can actually back up all that bs.

See u guys are like a disease spreading the "good word" about how Mexican soccer has come to redeem the world!!??   U can not accept criticism even when it's so obvious that Mexico does suck when compared against the true soccer elite.

Man u keep evading the question, tell me a Mexican other than Marquez -who BTW for the millionth time he's just a defender- is an elite player. That's right I guess your silence says it all. Not one, not one Mexican player, u guys as a matter of fact are so lame that you have to naturalize players who in theit native countries would not even be part of their team F!!!

But it gets even worse now that it's finally coming to you about the reality of your level of soccer you are trying to put the blame on those same players you had to naturalize and on ur Argentinian coach!!!:faint2: :tsk:
You are simply the worst!!!!! And some of you have even the audacity of saying that if Cacatemoc Blanco would be in the NT he'd be ur savior!!!

HAHAHAHA:lol:  I can't probably find enough space to describe how I'm LMAO   right now thinking u guys think Blanco can make Mexican soccer look good!!!!

Speaking of "ole, ole" didn't you guys find funny how that disrespectful chant (disrespectful when you chant that at the beggining of the game like ignorant Mexicans do) converted into "si se puede" five minutes before the fianl whistle.

Totally hilarious, Mexico showed today how much they have improved, really u know after all aren't they #4 as ranked by Fifa. HAHAHAHAH   and they could not beat a team that has amateurs players not playing professionally and with a bias ref.

Mexico and Concacaf = ultraoverrated

I hope though they make it to the next round so Argentina can finally further proof this by destroying them 5-0.

U S A ! ! ! U S A ! ! ! USA RULES!!!! great way of chearing your team on!!! the truth is that all you people from the U S A are pist because we kicked your ass in the 2006 baseball summer classic and are trying to get even by talking shit on this forum, but still we will always own you in soccer. We have played the USA 51 times, winning 30, tying 11 and lossing 10. so if we played the USA twice a year, the USA would have to win every game in the next 10 years just to tie the record... and that my friend, will never happened!!!

Baseball, who's talking about baseball here, besides American baseball is light years ahead of Mexico's for real, even with that adverse result. Our league is 10000000 times better than Mexico's where they play in grassless field where u see mice running around.

U can't compare MLB with ur sorry Mexican league, that would be like comparing Mexico's soccer league with the Premiership, oh, duh I forget u already do that!!!!
