Hey, Orange, if you are still present at WSB, please tell me what's going on with the so called ATLANTIC LEAGUE. I heard that the best Norway, Swedish, Scotish, Dutch, etc. teams will leave their national championships and join a new common league, so what's going on with this? Is it realistic or just a threat to UEFA? Any web site?

Don't think the Atlantic league is going to happen. All Norwegian teams have declined to participate anyway :)

My favourite team in Norway is Aalesund FK, in England it is Crystal Palace, and although I have other teams I support, they are not as important as those two.

I have been living in Sweden for twelve years now. I was born in Subotica in Yugoslavia in 1978 so I'm 23 years old.
My absolute favourite team has always been Partizan. In other leagues I support, in imortance order, Lazio, Malmö, Liverpool and Real Madrid.

There is one more from Finland, who has the nickname MarieL, mainly in the Lazio forums.

I'm from Denmark. Yeah, it doesn't seem like a lot of things are going on around here, in this Scandinavian forum anyway. :) Probably because Scandinavian football doesn't have that many star players, but anyway.
My favourite team in Denmark is AaB. Very likely because it's the team that is placed closest to my home. Otherwise, it could have been any other team in Denmark.

Great game! I watched it at a local pub and the atmosphere got real tense especially in the last thirty minutes.

The 0-1 goal was terrible but I'm grateful we could go into halftime with 1-1. Sweden started the first half with a lot of energy and drive and deserved to have the lead. The referee also missed one certain penalty (he seemed kind of anti-Sweden on the whole).

The second half was more even and Nigeria had some real opportunities to score an equalizer (after Sweden had scored the penalty - great job Henke!). Mjällby did a great save after some errors in the defense.

Even though I prefer England before Argentina it wasn't as good for Sweden though. It will be really exciting to see how this group ends up!

well i dont really know much about the others cos i dont follow them, but the danish league is as follows :- There is the top division which is called the Superliga, followed by division 1, 2, 3, etc. similar to the english leagues, but in the superliga there is only 12 teams, and each team plays eachother 3 times throughout the season, so they play 33 games, winner is the champions, and go into the 2nd round of the champions league qualifiers, 2nd and 3rd place teams go into uefa cup, as well as the danish cup (similar to the fa cup) winners. Bottom 2 teams are relegated, top 2 from divison 1 are promoted, etc.

Of course I´m scandinavian. I live in Helsingborg, Scania (occupied by Sweden since a few hundreds of years). I´ve pretty much dedicated my life to Helsingborgs IF, which is the least to say really painful right now.
Thought we were going to lead the league by now but instead we are second from the end. Considering the economy the club won´t exist in ayear unless we climb at least one position (we can´t afford playing below Allsvenskan, as the highest division is called).
