Boca accepts Barcelona offer for Riquelme...who will be our playmaker??????????

Boca have just accepted a 22 million offer for riquleme by barcelona....and there is a big likelihood that hell be signing up with the club...since hes looking to follow in the footsteps of maradona......so i guess there go the hopes of inter geting him for the play-maker role.....and with costa most likely to be headed towards milan....as he has openly said that their interest in him has been most flattering...the question is now...who can inter lure into the team for that playmaker role.......

I see a fantastic playmaker in Rui Costa!
We need him and thas a fact.
But to Win a Scudeto we need good defense.
I am from Croatia and i really like Dario Simic but i think inter need to get Nesta For lets Say 70 millions:
Then TO give Simic to Parma and give them some money for F.Cannavaro.
The The Defens would be something.
If we buy Rui Costa (we need him) then we have a good playmaker for future.
We need someone on the left wing.
Georgatos Was very good.If not him then i think E.Petit would be the solution.And on the right wing if Pacheco cant play then Robert Pires or Patric Viera!!!!!!!!!
I think with this team and to sell some young players too And of course they buy those three guys inter would Win scudeto for sure.

ok let me get this straight first
you told us to buy:
2 defenders (nesta & cannaravo)
a playmaker (Rui Costa)
some left winger (Petit you suggested)
Right Wing (Pires or Viera)

thats 6 players .... you've suggested.. soccer is an 11 man game, and you suggested we change half of our team?? you nuts?? changing the team that dramatically will just bring inter back to where we were at the beginning of the season, the helsingborg disaster.

And besides didn't know petit or viera could play on the wing... i thought they played in the centre?

i think buying a couple of italians won't hurt so much, they have the kind of relationship n' friendship between themselves.nesta n' cannavaro would be a great salution in defense if inter could get them

Well if we're on the lookout for a playmaker, how about Nuno Capucho? He's played some excellent games this season for Porto and Portugal. Of course I expect to be shot down for suggested him, seeing as he dosent play for any big teams from Spain or Italy... but I think he would be good.

well, there's already zanetti on the squad..i think inter need to improve their defence and they are weak in the left and there's no playmaker
give pirlo a chance..he's a pure playmaker n he's young too...of course, he still need more experience
either nesta or cannavaro will be a great asset if inter manage to get them...

i think that nesta is probably going to be out of the question.....as for cannavaro....think itll be difficult to get him to come to inter over juventus and lazio........so i think we probably will have to look elsewhere for defenders... think that sol campbell would be a nice guy to have in defence.....he's out of contarct this summer and supposedly inter will be his first choice if he leaves england...... then there rumours that inter miht also be trying to tempt geaogatos away from greece........i think that jonathan woodgate of leeds would also be a good player to buy......n think if a bid was accepted there shouldnt be too much trouble getting him to consider joining the club.......then there is also christanval of monaco whose a good and fairly young central defender that we're interested in.......hoping that maybe inter can offer a dream contract to phillipe mexes or offer a ridiculous offer for him that roma wont be willing to match........so he might be able to come to inter.........theres also gallas of marseille that can play on either side and in the central position.....whose currently unhappy at the club...so theres a possibility in him too........
so i guess there are alot of good defenders out there...just hope inter can lure atleast one or two of em to come and join Nerazzurri......
as for the playmaker...with rui costa thinking of milan......i have no clue of who inter should go for anymore....now onefootball.com is saying that riquelme thing with barcelona isnt sure shot now.....so maybe they have no clue about things at all....anyways think if theres still time inter should wake uo and join the hunt....

i agree i think it would be great to get mexes and woodgate both a very young and promising players but i dont think woodgate would leave leeds and it would take alot of money to chance Mexes mind , but i think he will be worth it if they could get him , i think he is going to be better then blanc , also i jsut read inter are interested in Real Madrid trio of Morientes which we dont need guti who i really like and michael salgado i also think is a solid player , has anyone else heard about this , i just read it at planetfootball.com , but i think that some where in that deal if it were to happen would be javier Zanetti and i dont think inter should let him go affter all he has done for us

Why would we need a new playmaker in the first place? If you are assuming Recoba will be suspended for a whole season I can partly understand it, but we still have Seedorf and as many people are saying these days. We should try to stick to what we have for once.

If we are foing into the market, I would suggest one mega buy and nothing else. Maybe some young talents we can develop in the youth team, but only one for the first squad.

I agree with one of the threads
Dont buy a whole new squad we should focus on building a group. If we buy anybody it should be a major buy. The youth system is a good idea.
