I chose Dejo cos most of you want Pixi to back to the national team but Dejo is 34 and leading his team Rapid Vienna to winthe Austrian Bundesliga and Pixi is 36.
With Savicevic, Ilic, Jugovic(at their best we can destroy any defence not only the teams we lost 4 points from them this week).

As for the lineup, I pretty much would stick to what we had last week except for a few changes here and there. Get rid of Mihajlovic, call-up Petkovic, and maybe 1 or 2 more slight changes. How did Stefanovic do against Slovenia? I didn't see the match, but against Switzerland he didn't really impress me enough for me to be satisfied with him being in the starting lineup again.

Stefanovic was horrible ... he was the weakest link in the team against Slovenia.

I'd call up Petkovic, but I wouldn't get rid of Mihajlovic, he has been playing better than anybody so far.

Kovacevic is an asshole. This is why him and Djoric got into a fight, according to Glas-Javnosti. Before the match Djoric was sitting with the players watching a taped Slovenia match and telling them how to defend them in a dead ball situtaion, " # 3 to cover #4" etc. Then Kovacevic cowardly said "What if the goalie of Slovenia comes in the box to head the ball ? Djoric realizing Kova wasn't being serious took him to another room and told him " You will never play not even if we are down 100-0". Kova watched the match from the airport and was in no mood to give an interview. Also Mohammed, like Ivan said forget about Savicevic, Lazetic is a must.

As for Lazetic I watched him against Switzerland but he did not impressed me at all. Against Slovenia I did not watch him cos nor Abu-Dhabi nor Dubai sports cahnnel broadcast the game they broadcated Spain vs France, Portugal vs Holland, Bulgaria vs N.Ireland, and Czech Republic vs Denmark.
But from I heard I think Lazetic is a kind of palyers similar to Jugovic. Is not he?
Sasha Ilic is what we need (I have never watched him but from what I hear he has great skills and techniques).
Dejan Petkovic is a looser!!!!!! Yes, believe me.
Can you tell me what did he di in Spain or Italy. NOTHING!!!!!!!

Savicevic is done, he is ok in the austrian league, but he is too slow and he shouldn't play for the NT. The last game that he played he almost had a hear attack.

rsf, I read Jugovic along with Jokanovic are both retired from international football. So I guess Djoric will either put Ivic, Tomic or maybe even Boskovic in that center mid position ? Also Djoric has said he was really impressed by the play of young Obradovic, and said that from now on he has a guaranteed spot in the team. Even Zahovic said, that no one in a long time has ever covered him as good as Obradovic did.

Savicevic is old and he won't make it to WC'02. We need to establish new leaders, not stick with the old ones just so we can make them feel better so their pride isn't damaged too much. Did you see how poorly he played for us in WC '98? did you see how poorly he played for us in the few Euro '00 qualification matches?

It's fine for him to play in the Austrian league cuz there really isn't much competition... kind of like the Yugo league... so if anything he might as well play in the Yugo league..... oh wait he did come back a couple of years ago and didn't exactly impress! :rolleyes: :D

As for Petkovic - why is he a loser? Because he is always among the top scorers in the Brazilian league?

Yeah I read it in Glas-Javnosti and Politka that he is retired from the Yugo national team. No fence to him he had done many great things with the national team but I'd rather have Sasa Ilic than him in our starting eleven. Sadly I think Jugovic is done. :(

I like both Cetnik's and Gerv's teams however both of you left out Obradovic who played very well against Slovenia and Switzerland whom Djoric rates very highly. Infact he said Obradovic has now become a standard defender for the Yugo nt. Also Cetnik I think Sasa Ilic is a must in the starting 11. Right now he is clearly in much better shape and form than Drulovic. Drulovic hasn't played in a while for Porto due to his demands for a new contract.

Here's my Starting 11 and I promise you if we play with this line up we can beat almost anyone. ;):D
