Gs out of Amsterdam Tournament

Galatasaray has withdrawn from this summer's LG Amsterdam tournament, scheduled for August 4-5-6 in Holland. The Turkish champions were lined up to play Manchester United and Benfica, but the 2006-2007 Turkish Super Lig season begins that weekend. Galatasaray applied to the Turkish Football Federation for a special permit to begin their season later in the week, but the application was denied and Internazionale will replace Galatasaray in Amsterdam.

What a shame it would have been a good practice for us!

too bad. U guys need the practice. Its been like 3 or 4 years since u played any big teams from europe. You will need practice before the CL.
