Fener's response to their title loss was predictably unsportsmanlike: the club posted a message on their official website Tuesday, reading "We, the Fenerbahce Yellow Canaries, put up a good fight to the very end but missed
out on the championship because all the other clubs in the Super League conspired against us, the reason being that they are envious of our greatness. Infrastructure-wise, money-wise, corporate restructuring-wise and fan-wise, we are the greatest, and that's why the others are jealous."
But no boasting about their superior "corporate structure" will return the title to the bitter Canaries, and Galatasaray's incredible championship victory has already claimed one victim in the Fenerbahce camp: coach Christoph Daum. Daum held a press conference yesterday in which he announced the desire to break his contract with Fener. “I will request the abrogation of my contract,” he said. “I have a contract through 2007. The decision of whether I will continue or not is the board of directors.”

Dont u guys feel like scumbags now. Its everybody against the rich kid, FB. U guys also have the TFF on your side and they are trying to stop Fener from getting to ahead of GS. They fine us about 100,000 YTL every week. This week they fined us 300,000 YTL for no good reason. They wont change the foriegn player rule which is keeping not only FB, but all of Turkey from being able to compete in the European competitions. Shame on all of u. This championship must feel good now. Atleast Malatyaspor has asked for Denizlispor's last two matches to be canceled cause of match fixing and the other one for that the fans stopped the game to much and the players couldnt get in to a flow. I doubt it will be canceled with Ulusoy as the president, the president who pays gs players so that their players will keep on playing.

well, it is fenerbahce; they wouldn't be saying "we are the best" if they knew they were not the best, they are just saying it out of jeolosy of these 2 pieces of beautiful silverware that actually mean a lot more than silverware to europe:

1. the amazing uefa cup
2. the superb super cup
and that is just not to mention
3. 16 league titles, same as fb (although according to them, since they do not know math, they are "way better")
4. over 40 different competition titles, whereas fener is almost reaching thirty.
