The wealth and power of their rivals across the Bosphorus was a striking contrast to the Lions' situation, and Fenerbahce's team of expensive stars often seemed unbeatable. A further obstacle came in the form of nonstop referee "errors", always in favor of Fener, leading to much conspiracy talk among fans of Galatasaray and other Super Lig teams. In short, Fenerbahce were the team to beat and at times they looked simply unstoppable. After the shock loss to Norway's tiny Tromso early in the season, which ended GS's European hopes, the Turkish media referred to Galatasaray as "fallen giants" and many commentators gave them no chance of lifting the national title from their crosstown enemies. They endured mockery from Fenerbahce fans and officials, but got the last laugh Sunday night as the arrogant Canaries choked on their own sense of entitlement. The fighting spirit of the Lions, helped along by the undying support of their fans as well as the sometimes inscrutable tactics of Belgian coach Erik Gerets, prevailed in the end. Galatasaray deserved to win, and they won. And that is all that matters. :)

Once again we showed which is the best club in Turkey, FB's money and their arrogance will not change that, other clubs in Turkey don't like FB either..no one likes FB because they are low in every possible way using dirty tricks..but their official statements are fun to read :ronaldo:

"On going ref errors." What bs. Ever since Ulusoy has become president all of a sudden ur players are being paid by the TFF. Refs are giving u penalties, ur matches get fixed so that u win every single time. The fans of every single other team are throwing stuff at our players, delaying our games so that we cant get in a flow and the media is criticizing Daum and Aziz for everything they do, which is the reason both of them resigned.

fenerliyim, one mistake: u said that we were the ones that were the ones paying the refs, but excuse me, i think there has been an misunderstanding here.
1. We do not have the money to do such stupid things
2. How come agianst gaziantep or something the referee missed 3 handballs, whereas Anelka is allowed to put the ball in with his hand if he wants to? the age of the Hand of God goal is over now; they have proper cameras now. And the referee still does not give a care.
3. Remember how Ali Aydin was forced out of his career?

First of all like i said in the other thread ever since Haluk Ulusoy has become president refs have been making errors, teams have been losing on purpose to GS, giving them penalties on purpose. Just cause GS cant pay doesnt mean Ulusoy, big GS fan, cant pay or command the refs and other teams to lose.

You dont have the money because you spent all of it on doing these. And about the Anelka hand thing. He didnt touch the ball, look at the replay, anelka's and hits the goalies hand, which hits the ball and rolls in the net. And the cameras dont make any difference, the ref doesnt stop the game and look at the camera, you dont make sense. Gs controls the Turkish league, and you say against all odds. Fener had BJK against us, kayseri, cimbom, and even denizli, as you can see. Iknow cimbom were in trouble, but they got the job done, and the whole club knows what they did.
