He thinks just because Slovenia managed to scrap a draw against Russia (not even a European powerhouse!), and we had to settle for a tie (because we gave up a sloppy goal in the 85th min) against Switzerland that now a win is a sure certainty for them on Wednesdays. If he really watched the 1st Yugo-Slo game he would have seen that Slovenia is not at all better then Yugo in any way shape or form.
Besides, most important of all, I think we have a psychological advantage coming into the game. Slovenians know that they had us down 3-0 with 30 mins to go, and we still came back in the end and didn't lose. Oh and not to mention we were one man down.
They think that their home crowd will somehow play a major role in this game - yet if anybody is going to be rattled by the crowd it will be the Slovenians themselves (<i>wow this many people can actually be at a game?</I>) A crowd of barely 10,000 fans could not possible rattle the likes of Mihajlovic, Jugovic, Milosevic, who regularly play in front of crowds of 50,000+
And if 40,000 obnoxious Croats couldn't rattle our team in Zagreb, I wouldn't be worried about the Slovenian crowd.
If coach Djoric plays pretty much the same team as he did today - I think we will play much better! You don't know how much one game together means for these guys - besides they'll be fresh of their mistakes and they'll know exactly what NOT to do come wednesday.
So fantastic, I would like to request from you not to come onto this board anymore until after the game. If you win (doubtful) come here and talk all the crap you want (mihajlovic will probably close your topic anyway :):D) But please stop coming in here and spreading your nonsense and laughable arrogance without having anything to back it up.
