I don't feel like giving a match report right now. Miha scored of a great free kick from abround 30 meters. We attacked and created chances throughout the whole match. Then near the end Chapuziat scored of a terrible mistake by Kocic. (when you see the goal you will see what I am talking about). At the end Milosevic had a great chance to give us the game winner he was alone infront of the goalkeeper but kicked it straight to him.

Our bright spots were definately Duljaj and Ivic. (and no I am not just saying this because I am a Grobar). Both played very tough, worked hard and hussled, as the fans chanted "vla di mir iv ic". I also thought Drulic should have been put in and not Kovacevic.

All you shupci are over-exaggerating. Yea, I'm disappointed with the game too - and the inabilities of our players to score and make something happen drove me crazy - but in the end a point is a point -> and this was a very young squad.

Fakat je da momci nisu bili uigrani, i tacno je da smo mogli igrati veoma bolje i trebali smo ih pobediti - ali sta ces. Nije kraj sveta. Realan rezultat je trebo' biti 3-0 ili 3-1, imali smo barem 4,5 stopostotne sansi, i jos par polu-sansi. Primili smo gol zato sto je nas golman invalid.

Nisam vise toliko siguran da ce mo pobediti Slovence, ali trebali bi da zaradimo barem jedan pojen u Ljubljani.

Ja vam kazem ljudi - dajte ovoj ekipi jos par meseci, i malo da se uigraju. Mislim da ima potencijala.

A svaka cast nasem komentatoru - stvarno je imao par bisera.... prvo, pocetkom utakmice kad su bile dve uzastopne sanse za Jugu on kaze "Bice ovde golova veceras"

A onda pri kraju utakmice "Sa malo pomoci Boga mogli bi da izvucemo pobedu" :D

By the way, who was the player that shot the ball straight at the referee :thumbsup: after he didn't call a foul against Switzerland? heheheh

Ivic played great as a sub - and Mihajlovic was probably the player of the game, even though I hate to admit such a thing :rolleyes: :D

Lazetic and Djordjevic showed some great driblling but also showed uncertanty when and where to pass the ball.

Kezman played so-so, we had no playmaker who could create chances for him.

Savo... jebote! 5 meters out and of all the places to shoot, you shoot straight at the goalie! You get the "papan of the game award" :scream:

I hope he reorganizes this squad after the match against Slovenia, because it's ridiculous. Switzerland has two or three average players to say the best, with Sforza, Chapuisat and Turkilmaz, only one of them being present today.

I don't care just how young these guys are, get at least 5 or 6 of them out of the team and bring back guys who can play football. At least we'll have a squad mixed with experienced players and with young talents willing to learn.

NO, NO, NO!!! That's the problem!!!! The older guys don't want to play football! Haven't you watched any of our games the past 3 years??? When we had an "old" squad everyone was saying bring in young guys, now when we finally have some young guys, we get a draw against an average side and immediately everyone is saying "bring back the old guys"

Mislim da je Petkovic trebao da ostane selektor, mislim imao je koncepciju, uigran tim, odigrao dosta prijateljskih....ali oni kulovi iz FSJ ga oterali svojim postupcima...nemojte me razumeti pogresno, nije Petkovic as ali je mislim da je bolji od Djorica...

Problem ove ekipe je sto nisu odigrali ni jednu prijateljsku utakmicu. Medjutim Djoric je kreten (nemojte previse kriviti igrace), pokazao je s mladima da je kreten.

They're trying to break all time stadium records, current one is on 2,567 in 1996 when the stadium was cookin. The fans could even be heard by the players on the pitch ...

Well in that case we should have been fined too. :eek: In our match against Switzerland the stadium was filled up beyond its capacity. Some people were screwed and were sold the same ticket (same seat) as other fans attending the match.

You know what else can only happen to us ? Having the "Delije" from the "Sever" boo and whistle when a player from our nt that played for Partizan touches the ball and have the Grobari from the "Jug" do the exact same when an ex Red Star player touches the ball. When there was a moment of silience for the families who's family members died during the Nato bombing, the Delije were screaming "Savo Majmune". Thats not even funny, thats just plain sad..

It might not be a failure, but it certainly wouldn't be celebrated as a great accomplishment.
