I dont know what to make of this younger Romanian, and the fact that their strikers like Mutu and Ilie are always injured. Should be a big game, I think they will need at least a draw today or they could kiss 2002 goodbye.

Mutu and Ilie are injured? Than even a draw is going to be difficult for them. I agree that they need at least a point to stay in the WC hunt, but goalscoring will be a problem with those two injured. Do you know if Hagi is playing? It might not make much of a difference anyway, but at least the game will be more exciting. Younger Romainian? Mutu is a young Romainian, as as Cristian Chivu. If Chivu is playing, than Romainia's defence will be bolstered.

Hagi has retired from the national side for good and Serban is now the captain. I agree what you said about Chivu. I think Moldovan will play, but I am not sure as far as i know the coach is calling up a very young squad
