Big first leg at Highbury. This one is not going to be easy, by any means. But Villarreal are missing a couple of key players. Fabregas could be fit for the match, would which be a big boost for the Gunners.
Can't wait for this one.

Villarreal is not a proffesional team, they only started playing good about 2 years ago so don't worry guys. beat a crap out of them. and injur forlan, even if it takes red card. this guy must die!

Whew! Close win, but its still a win. The 2nd leg is gonna be tough, but at least Arsenal go in with an advantage.
Nice first leg for the Gunners. Villarreal looked dangerous at times, but Arsenal created many more chances. They should have had at least one more goal - Henry was not offside on his goal that was called back, and Bergkamp should not have missed in extra time. As nice as that 2nd goal would have been, I'll take any win at this point.
Thats 9 straight CL matches without conceeding a goal for Arsenal.

If it happens. Villareal came back form being down a goal in the QF against Inter, and there's nothing to say they can't do it again.

Vill had an away goal against Inter.. they are going to struggle to contain Henry on counter attack, if Arsenal score the game is over..

Anything can happen in football and we all know that. One goal advantage from the first game is not enough. Arsenal will have to score tonight if they want to see final.

No offence but seeing as we havent conceded a goal in 9 games we may not have to score to qualify, 1 goal may be enough as Real found out...

Villarreal still have a chance, but Arsenal wil not easy to score on. I'm slightly worried by having Sol back there instead of Senderos - who would have thought that a year ago? Playing in the Madigral will be tough, but the Gunners away form has been solid this is year in the CL, so...

And they do IT!!! I can't believe Arsenal are in the Final. It seemed so impossible just a few months ago, but they've managed it. I don't even care that they played poorly today - they won the tie and thats what matters in the end.

YES!!! And they're through! I can hardly believe it. We were sub-par, but there were a few bright spots (not a mistake from Sol after all that worrying, and lets not forget Amazin' Lehman).
Hope you win the finals against AC Milan! Good victory!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
Who said anything about Milan in the fianl?
