Besiktas move for Valencia's Kluivert

Besiktas are interested in Newcastle United striker Patrick Kluivert.
The Dutchman has struggled with injury and form over the past two seasons at Newcastle and Valencia. However, Besiktas have made contact with the agent of Kluivert this week to register their interest. Bolton Wanderers have also been linked with the forward.
Kluivert is contracted to Valencia until 2008, but president Juan Soler is already seeking new strikers which will push the Holland international further down the first team queue.
