So UEFA say Rangers were not guilty, na, don't go with that. UEFA did'nt have enough evidence and what is that plonker David Edgar from the Rangers Supporters Trust all about, the word FENIAN according to him has many meanings, so he does not know which meaning the fans are using.MMMMMMMMM let us think about this for a minute, is it an 18th century irish rebel they are they singing about or a catholic, you decide!
And now David Murray has said it is time for the 90 minute bigots to shut up, to little to late mate. But what chance have the supporters got when a player, BOB MALCOLM signs an autograph with ftp at the end, hey maybe someone should ask him what ftp stands for!
Oh by the way i am nor catholic or celtic supporters, i am someone who believes that these songs are outdated and that there is no place in our society for them.:blah: :blah: :blah: :blah:

FTP stands for "Free the Penguins". Malcolm is an animal rights activist and does not believe in keeping penguins in zoos.

RangersRSAD, although i'll confess rangers have a minority of bigoted fans, what about celtic. If you've ever seen a Celtic away game, when all the 'hardcore' fans travel, you'll here non-stop, vile, sectarian chants about IRA violence.
At least David Murray is making an effort to kick bigotry out of Scottish football - a lot more than the Celtic directors!!

Both sets of fans are as bad as each other in my opinion. (although, some Hearts and Hibs fans are just as guilty. A nasty habit picked up from the F.O.D that we're trying to stamp out)
Until the Rangers fine, I think both clubs weren't that bothered about it. It brought a lot of money into the club. Bus loads of fans coming over from the Republic and Northern Ireland helped fund the coffers.
If they wanted to ban these people, they could have years ago but knew they'd be alienating a large source of revenue for the club. Hearts did their best by banning Union Flags and Tricolours, but this caused almost as much bother as the flags and singing themselves.
It's a nasty bug that affects the Scottish game, and it's only now something is being done about it.
Still think McConnell should keep his bloody nose out though....

That's what the management of both clubs are scared to admit..... they turn a blind eye because they realize they would lose alot of money!!
