Just read that Belfast City Airport in Northern Ireland is to be renamed "George Best Airport". Wow!! Mr. Best is quite the legend in Northern Ireland, I would say!! I know that at least one stadium in Italy is named for a famous Italian player of the past (I think for Giuseppe Meazza, but I don't remember in which Italian city that stadium is), but I don't know of any other footballer who has an airport named after him, does anybody else?

That's pretty great. Reminds me of Kennedy airport in NYC. :D Footballers are more famous than presidents in Europe for sure, so it makes sense. A great tribute.
BTW Giuseppe Meazza is Inter's stadium in Milan. The same stadium is San Siro to Milan though despite the other name being the official one these days. Rivalries you know...
