The latest exchange rate between Zvezda's management and referees is 5,000DM per goal I hear.

Thus, don't be suprised if a 15,000DM withdrawal was made shortly before todays game.

One day komunisti... one day!!!

Ivan, that post of yours makes me sick, unless you were joking, of course..

What did you expect, to win???
Or draw??:D
Get real, for Gods sake..

Ivan I totally agree with you. Red Star once again rigged the match. The question is how much money did they give the ref this time ?

Grobar, I wanted to tell you the truth, which is that Zvezda are currently a much better team than Partizan,
but........

They are better at rigging matches than Partizan I agree with you on that one. :D

Living in denial, ha?
Typical for a Grobar...:)

BTW, I loved this one from serbiancafe,
"u igri Partizana primecen je veliki NAPREDAK"..hahahah:D

Zvezda Sampion!!!

Zvezda are good... but not that good! It's no secret that little behind the door deals were happening during Tito era, and should there be any doubt that they are still happening?

They always have, and always will have connections with the govt.

Don't worry, they're dying in all the other sports...soccer will come soon.

Isn't it ironic when a Grobar talks about connections with the gvt??:D:D
A fan whose team actually had the power to release their players from the duty of going to the army (e.g. Mijatovic), whose key men were so close to our former dictator Milosevic..I don't even know why I am writing this, you'll just keep living in denial no matter what I say..

And Ivan, if that was the case, I really doubt it that Partizan, Dinamo, Hajduk, Vojvodina and even Velez would have become Yugo champions...
And I especially doubt it that Zvezda would have lost the deciding game against Vojvodina in '89 (when these were the only two teams contending for the title) 3:1 in Novi Sad..
I'm quite sure we could have fixed something up..

And, oh yes, I'm also quite sure we wouldn't have 4 draws from this season..

SIMPLY THE BEST, BETTER THAN ALL THE REST!! :D:D

Yea, I was hoping things would change with the new govt, but with what happened few weeks ago... the more things change the more they stay the same.

By the way, I'm talking about Djindjic forcing the derby to be replayed and allowing Delije to be at the match.

Like Andrija said though, they are falling apart in all sports and soccer will come soon. Question is who will you be cheering for then ?

Yea well even your management is smart enough not to make things too obvious. Besides, like I mentioned earlier, the "exchange rate" always fluctuated - so sometimes you couldn't afford to fix matches. You think I'm kidding, but that's a sad fact.

Well isn't it funny that this "match fixing" team is the 11th or 12th team ranked by success in European cups?:D
And I really, really don't think Zvezda was powerful and rich enough to buy refs in Europe, do you? :)
Partizan, on the other hand, with 16 league titles and I'm not sure how many cups isn't even among the first 50.. So Zvezda do have an excuse for winning so many titles (simply too good:D), what is Partizans excuse, or even Vojvodina's?
Now that looks fishy to me :)
Even looking at our history from 1992, even though Partizan dominated the league in that stage, we still have a BETTER score in Europe - hmmm, doesn't really make sense now does it..:D

ZVEZDA SAMPION!

Apart from being the champs of Europe once what other significant trophies have you won in Europe ? Thought so face it buddy you just happen to have good players that year. I wonder where the money came from to get these players.

Grobar, I'm not sure whether you are blind but I said we are ranked 11th or 12th in Europe (we were 9th before the sanctions), Partizan isn't among the first 50!!
So do your math...

Haha ohh and where can I find these ratings ? let me guess from delije.net ? :D:D

Actually Grobar, from all-time Euro competition statistics, Zvezda is ranked close to the top 10th ;)

rs forever - you are misunderstanding me. Or perhaps I wasn't too clear. I'm not saying that Zvezda payed their way through every match and every championship. A lot of your wins I'm sure were legitimate, in fact probably a vast majority of your wins were legitimate. But sometimes, some seasons you just weren't good enough and you needed some "help". You always had the money. Other clubs (even in ex-yu) could only dream about having as much money as Zvezda and Partizan.

When teams like Vojvodina won the leagues, it was 100% from the players and their hearts and hard work. However, I'm not sure same thing could be said everytime about Zvezda or Partizan.

They always have, and always will have connections with the govt.

No, not really. All they need is a connection within the FSJ. That bastard Miljanic! Can't he go away and be Hong Kong's head coach or something? :D Or maybe the Marshall Islands? The farther the better...

And Djoric is an idiot too...seriously why is he the coach?

Well, Ivan you were quite quick to rephrase your statement..:D

And Grobar, if you didn't know this statistic about Zvezda being among the best teams of all time in European Cups, then I am really surprised you dare to speak out against us because you obviously don't know all your facts..:D

One more time, I'll now try do it in an easier to understand way:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Zvezda:

very successful in Yugoslavia -> very successful in Europe
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Partizan:

succesful in Yugoslavia -> nowhere nearly as successful in Europe

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone who is capable of drawing a logical conclusion will realize who DESERVED their victories and who didn't..:)

rsf - i just want you to admit that sometimes (occasionally/rarely) you won yugo league/matches under "shady" circumstances.

Quiet, boy, Zvezda won that match fair and square.
