Agree with the new sig rules??

-You can not have sigs larger than a certain size.

Simple question, do you agree or disagree??

Perhaps if certain posters (not to mention any names) could control their tendency to spread their racist and sectarian beliefs this policy might not have to have been undertaken.

Sigs can still be made and/or with a link to a personal website. It is a soccer forum, if you want to advertise your local KKK chapter I suggest one find another forum.

Now I shall anxiously await the posts of the three other charter members of this whiner's club.

I'm seeing comments that sigs slow page loading. I don't know if that's true...but pages are going VERY slowly at the moment. Could that be size or the number of members with them?
Either way, what is the point of them? We're here to debate aren't we? Do we have to see the same thing repeated?
Nobody is prevented from posting links (subject to being within content rules)...just not in the sigs.

If sigs are causing pages to load slower than I would totally be for getting rid of sigs.

There are going to be inconsistancies until we see all member's sigs and get them straightened out. That will take time.

But I suppose it's too difficult to ask posters to post about soccer not racism in a SOCCER forum, (not you BristolUK)

I'm not now but I am very familiar with that area and oddly enough I was at Rinzlers a few weeks ago after not being there for years. That area is about halfway from where I was born and raised and the place I later lived when I went away to school and came back. I'll probably end up back there someday.

I still see many people in sfn whose sigs have not been touched. I find this very unfair that just cause me and a few people like ulster and toke-e-yo protested against this new rule that our sigs had to be taken away.

That wasn't really the point I was trying to make.
I didn't see a sig (unless it was the trash he was spouting)...I was only observing and commenting that he wasn't really a 'new guy'. He joined for the sole reason of peddling his racist filth which he did by posting the same thing in several forums. He's been banned for it. I've seen the same spamming from him elsewhere. He's an 'old hand' at it :)
Sigs don't bother me unless they make things slow. I hide them anyway.
