Slow site

This site has become extremely slow. My pages are taking over 10 seconds on nearly every click. Submitting seems to take even longer.
Anybody know why?

Nothing else is slow, just SFN.

Only SFN is VERY slow, all the other sites or forums are working perfectly

I think the ads came on a few weeks back. Everything became this slow just last week.

I find I'm not actually even opening some threads because it all takes too long. It's becoming intolerable.

Even marking things as read takes ages. But if I don't do it, it all looks new the next time.

We might be due for a server upgrade. I too have noticed the slower load times. I will do something about this ASAP.

Omar, I think it's the third-party ad websites that is slowing down the website.

Try flushing the database, it always helps

Mornings are not so bad, but mid afternoon or later, I pretty much forget it.
It's mid afternoon for me now and the reply box took over 30 seconds to open.


And 40 seconds from 'submit' to appearing!!!!
