We need a striker guys. With Totti out we can not rely on Montella and his injuries and we can not play Mancini there. Nor Nonda who has proved to be very slow and always injured.

I'm a Milan fan but, I have some sympathy for Roma. I like the recent gameplay Spalletti has transmitted to your team and it's true what you state that you need another striker...

There have been rumours about Udinese's Vincenzo Iaquinta and Lecce's Mirko Vucinic. I don't reckon Iaquinta has great qualities although I find Vucinic to be a better player, great technique, dribbling, verticalization and spurt in short spaces as well as being lethal on 1-on-1.

I've watched this Argentinian striker called Ignacio Scocco... this 18 year old player is physically very similar to Vincenzo Montella but, this guy possesses a really terrifying shot... awesome power and preciseness which recall to me the best Ruben Sosa! I'd take him in consideration to substitute Vincenzo Montella who I believe now at 32 is pretty close to the end of his adventure at Roma.

Also Renne's striker, swiss Alexander Frei seems excellent but, I'd really recommend new emerging Ajax star, Klaas Jan Huntelaar... I think this player has it all...
acrobatics, top class aerial gameplay, decent technique but, most of all... incredible goal instincts!

***k, if Roma needs a striker they should consider Alberto Medina from Chivas man, he is ***ken good. He rarely injured and he is like Ronaldihno but Mexican version!

Look the way i see it, Football has changed and just as the 4-4-2 is no longer the dominant model to win (look at our amazing Win streak or Milan), so it is that a team does not need a traditional striker. creative midfielders, like Mancini, Perrota, Taddei are more useful to play with our Captain.

ok man i can't Deny that Roma did well without strikers most of this season but it wont keep going on this way. Roma really need 2 Strikers and not any 2 strikers they need 2 good ones that can add and transfer the good work of the great midfield Roma have.;)

Roma are in Links with Vucinic but Inter looks closer 2 him and also they wants Iaquinta which if they sign will be great and Mido is already coming Back next season.

Mido is coming back for next season and Probably Antonio di Natale from Udinese(not certain yet?). But if key players are healthy next season we have a good starting line-up and Totti can go back to his favourite position behind striker/s.
