Dunfermline 1 Celtic 8 (Highlights Included)

Great performance yesterday from Celtic. Stan Petrov opened the scoring in the 3rd minute after some great work by Mark Wilson sending the ball into the near post for Stan to tap in. Dunfermline equalised not long after with a corner coming in and Boruc completely missing it and the Dunermline player tapping it in. Celtic took the lead again after Stan Petrov played a subline pass through to Zurawski whos shot was saved and fell into the path of Hartson who blasted it in. The next goal was a long ball over the top and Zurawski beat the offside trap with a magnificent finish then made it 4-1 before half time with a similar goal beating the offside trap and side footing the finish.

The second half started with Zurawski scoring yet another goal after some great work by John Hartson.
Then came the goal of the match, perhaps the season. Stan Petrov out wide on the right cut back and put in a cross to Maloney who was on the edge of the box. The ball was behind him and he managed to scissor kick a volley right into the top corner, drilled and brilliant. Honestly its the best goal i have ever seen from a Celtic player in recent times.

Then Neil Lennon scored his first goal in, well a long time, with a long range drive into the bottom corner. Zurawski got his fourth after a great pass by McManus sent him free of the defence and another great finish.

All in all a good day for the bhoys.
