View Full Version : is the revival of the roman empire inevitable?

well by the looks of it i would think so but now that the euphoria in lupi land has settled let's discuss a problem that the acquisition poses on as roma shall we?
there is simply not enough room for all those stars now with cassano and i predict that one of totti/batistuta/montella will depart in the offseason. the likely candidate seems to be montella but a question that continully resurfaces time and time again is why hasn't totti renewed his contract with sensi? i don't know who it will be in the end but someone will surely leave and don't doubt that it'd be the egotistical francesco totti.
nevertheless, if sensi manages to keep all his players intact for next season the renaissance of the roman empire will be inevitable that is for certain.
I think that the chances of Totti leaving are next to none, same goes for Batigol. Maybe Montella, but Sensi has said recently Montella will be staying for another season at Roma. I think that next year Roma will have a big problem at their hands. If they keep the same attackers for next season, they will have too many stars upfront and perhaps become another Inter.

both montella and cassano will want to be titolare and there is simply not enough time to be distributed among the 5. i'm just being very speculative of totti and i don't believe the hometown hero will leave - i just find it odd that he hasn't renewed yet. he's had the opportunity but maybe he's waiting until he wins the big prize to negotiate with sensi. that'd be a wise move if they win.

Totti renewed his contract. The whole mess was been between Sensi and Totti´s agent. Thats over now.
I think noone will leave team this year. Who wana leave champs ? :)
I think Montella will wait more for his chance to be in the first 11. Maybe Delvechio will leave next year ? Who knows.

of course your empire will end ... possibly you win your hahahhhaa (3) scudetto but next season all your horses leave roma ....
batistuta is too old you most take care of montella big faculty & of course kick del vecchio out...
totti will leave to a big club like inter for example...

why would totti leave roma to go to inter? i don't think he aspires to flirt with relagation!
Totti to Inter ? Haha Give me a break why 10 strikers isn't enough for you, you need more ? Also, I think Totti wants to actually play in Europe with next year, like umm the CL. I don't think he wants to waist a whole year playing for a club who are just looking ro rebuild after this season.

Ba tigol maybe old but he's a great player.look at those goals which he scored n' the accuracy of his shoot, it's far far better than some overrated striker.
he is the one who always be underrated.

i don't think batigol is underrated at all. what would lead you to believe that?
he is arguably the best striker in the game and everyone knows it.

Batigol is always be commended that he's old n' said that he don't worth such a price when he was transfered to roma in the summer.well he proved that he worth it .everyone also thin that ronaldo is the world best striker but to me, batigol always be the best.At least he's consistent
well it just my thought.

ronaldo is 'inconsistent' because he's always injured. otherwise, there is no striker in the game that is as explosive and technically sound as il fenomeno is.
look at how he dominated in his first year? the only team that could stop that one man wrecking crew were the eventual champions juve. he was inter and their results during his injury skid is indicative of that.

you're right roma are definitly not inter because without their catalyst they are still obtaining the wins. ronaldo also never had a player like totti feeding him balls...well they did have baggio...but with politics and all..you know..
