Zvonko Vukic has broken a bone in his left foot and will be unable to play at least a month and a half -plus rehabillitation period, which pretty much buggers the rest of this season for him..including the Derby on April 1st.
What will this mean for Partizan and for the national team?
Thoughts, anyone?

For Partizan it's not so good, though I think that the addition of Lazovic will still help them. Partizan still has a good chance of chasing down Zvezda for the championship, so we'll see. Even if they hadn't brought back either of these players, the chance would still exist.
Quite honestly, I don't think Vukic's injury will mean much for the national team. Even if he can't appear at the World Cup (but he will). The point is that in actual fact, the guy has not been in good form for quite some time now and it seems to me that the midfield line of Djordjevic - Duljaj - Stankovic - Koroman, is now the top choice for SCG (with Vukic and Sasa Ilic competing for the first spots off the bench). But even if Vukic is not there, it doesn't seem like a big deal to me. It means that other, younger talents can come off the bench.

Didn't Vukic score quite a few goals for the NT during the WC qualifying campaign (probably most prolific among all the midfield players)? I guess he is an important player. Not only he scores goals, but he is also a good playmaker.

His injury is not a loss for national team, but I guess it is for Partizan. If he is so good why is he back in Partizan, and not in some major club?
