Iran in Germany 2006

Those of you who watch the news probably saw and heard the hostile (and pretty naive) declarations of the Irani president.

And lately there is an idea led by Israel and supported somehow by UK and Germany to bann Iran from Germany 2006.

You know on one side they indeed are not friends to us and i cant say i will be happy to see them in Germany but on the other side- Israel also suffers the mixing between sports and politics,so its kind of not right that out of all the countires will be the one who will try to ban Iran from Germany...because one day they just might do the same to us.

My opinion is that this anti-iran thing has gotten out of hand. Why should Iran be banned from Germany 2006? Because one Iranian called for the destruction of Israel? Arab's have the right to complain about Israel too. But do they? NO. Please quit mixing politic's with sport's. Why shouldn't those very talented atheletes go to Germany? Are they some kind of undercover suicidebomber's? This is the most stupid complaint I have ever heard about. Iran has the right to go to Germany just like Israel would have the right too.

The worst thing that can happen to Sport's is it being mixed with politic's. Who care's wether your Iranian or Israel, LET'S JUST ENJOY THE GIFT OF SPORTS!!! :)

mixing sports and politics is indeed not correct in my opinion but think of this:
one of the perpouses of WC is also to promote world peace, and currently Iran is in a cold war with the western world.Israel is not the only country that has problems with them.
a country that presents today threat on the global peace (if we ever had one) should not be taking part in such a tournament.

To remind its not only their president called to destroy Israel but also denied the exsistence of the jewish and gypsy holocoust and more.

If Iran get's banned then England should too. When people play in Iran the Iranian fan's act like real fan's unlike in England where they yell pronazi thing's and show disrespect to their opponent's. Every nation has terrorist's and A holes and young men who just want to play for their nation are not the ones blame for it! Soccer is not mixed with politic's and it shouldn't be. And FIFA doesn't really care much about issues but for soccer entertainment for this globe which is constantly at war. Soccer was alway's the source that made people turn away from politic's and just have fun.

Iran too can't do nothing that will effect World peace. Israel and Iran will kill each other to death if they go to war. Soccer has nothing to do with the Iranian policy. Fifa is known to be a organisation of great talent for all, and those Iranian soccer player's really have talent and they should not be blamed because of one person's word's. I would go insane if soccer mixed with politic's, it's just wrong for million's of people who suffer because of politic's and they see soccer as the only way to escape from such a bad reality. The Iranian President does not represent million's of Iranian's. Soccer is such an important thing for all of us. Soccer is alway's there for people who just want to be able to feel excited and happy and to cheer for their beloved land while there is so much violence happening outside their home's. That's why soccer should be in a total different catigory than politic's. That way soccer will spread! :rockon:
