Galatasaray 5-3 Borussia Dortmund

Galatasaray beat Germany's Borussia Dortmund 5-3 in the opening match of the Efes Pilsen Cup.

Tomas headed the first goal thanks to a perfect pass by Sabri. Second goal again assisted by Sabri who made some sweet moves and passed the ball to Karan .

I am not proud of Galatasaray's third goal at all. Clearly necati threw himself on the ground and Turkish referee pointed the penalty spot. necati stood up soon as he heard the whistle and started to grin.

Borussia players were objecting rightfully so but to the def ears of the ref Muftuoglu.

Gambino made it 3-1 and this goal was assisted by Dortmund's 17 year old Turkish International Nuri Sahin.

Man of the match Necati made it 4-1 but Gambino answered with two more goals of his own to make it 4-3.

Final ten minutes was pretty tough for Galatasaray but again man of the match Necati took the stage and started a perfect dribble and found Hasan Sas who scored Gala's 5th and final goal.

yah i enjoyed this match very much, it was a great match for gs against a european club...because they have played so poorly against euro clubs recently...since the game was filled with many goals and great action i can say that it was very enjoyable however its a pity we did not win the final...
