View Full Version : Anelka Might Leave
Anelka has admitted he would like to return to play in England!.....
Fenerbahce's Anelka said ,he would like to return to the Premiership.
"I know I am at a good level," he informed L'Equipe. "Perhaps I will leave Fenerbahce in the summer or in a few months. "It will depend on the propositions."The club understands my position - I came to play in the Champions League and help the club get through the first round. "It hasn't worked fine. "Next season, we will probably qualify again and, if I have to stay, I will stay, it won't be a problem. "In case of a departure, I would like to go to England.
"I would like to have a second opportunity to play for a big club.
"That is why I give my best with Fenerbahce."

Yeah once Fener is through using him, and his career in Fener is over he would like to play in england. No big suprise. Not like he would want to stay in Turkey forever.
yer its not a big suprise but the ques is which club will he return to? perhaps back to man city or maybe even to a bigger and better club...depends on who wants him, if he is good enough and many other reasons...

I love Anelka (not in a gay way...), his style of playing is one of the most impressing i've seen......he is one of my favorite players......Hope he goes to a better team then Newcastle, Arsenal or Man U would be my choice...
i think newcastle wud be a great choice for him as they are having attacking problems...i dont think man utd need another attacker...

He is still not in form. If he was at England now he would be benched coz he hasnt scord a goal for months. Still needs a few mor years, 2 go bak to the days where he destroyed teams single handidly.

What? A couple of days ago news said that he was in a great form in the training, they used that 'ruzgar gibi esti' phrase. ;) Tsk tsk tsk..
By the way, I don't know for sure if he'll stay or leave because it's 'Anelka' but.. Whatever happens, Fenerbahce won't be left without a star striker. If we sell him, we'll buy a great replacement and if he stays we should get more out of him next year since he's been with us for a while now.. I kind of feel he hasn't given his best yet at Fenerbahce, am I the only one thinking he could've done more in Champions League?
PS: This (http://www.antu.com/naklenx/2005-2006/bjk_fener/besiktas0fener1.mpg) was enough for TSL ;)
no way man he is in great form and newcastle has shown signs of signing him...i read somehwhere that they have started talks with fener

Great Form? Yes he does take the players on and turns them inside out, but we dont want that, we want to turn them inside out on the scoreboard. And the maount of goals his scored this year isn't quite what we've been expecting. Semih has played way less game time but still he has scord mor goals...

Yeah, let's not get carried away, An3Lka. Eventhough I said he hasn't been the player that 'I' expected doesn't mean he can be compared to Semih or, haha.. any other Turk for that matter
I uh.. I have uploaded Fenerbahces CL games in full length over to http://bosanac.filefront.com. If you want to watch them, be my guest.. You'll realize that the whole team was on his shoulders, just look at his presence in the games.

He doesn't seem to stay at one club for long. It's a pity cos when he played for Arsenal he was awesome.Good luck to him I hope he finds a club longterm.:)

The only game he showed his presence was the 3-0 game vs. psv. In the other games he did nothing.

No, in the other games he was the backbone of the midfield and attack. Everything would evolve around him, while he might not touch the ball because he got 2 defenders working on him, that does open the road for our other players and when he gets a hang of the ball watch how every single one of his moves are changing the direction and pace of the game ;)

Anelka's job is to score goals, not open the road for our other players. Thats Alex's job. But it looks like these 2 players switched jobs.

ANELKA TO UNSTICK TOFFEES
Former Liverpool striker Nicolas Anelka is set for a stunning move to goal-shy Everton, according to The Sun. Anelka, who would set David Moyes back about £5m, said recently "In case of a departure, I would like to go to England". Anelka, who has played for Arsenal, Real Madrid and Manchester City as well as Everton's local rivals, is seen as an ideal strike partner for James Beattie, although Everton may struggle to match his £50,000 a week wages...
But i dont believe everton can afford to buy anelka from fb
Everton manager David Moyes is chasing French striker Nicolas Anelka to solve his side's goalscoring blues, according to The Sun.
Anelka, who only moved to Fenerbahce from Manchester City last January in a £5.3million deal, is keen to return to the Premiership.
He said recently: "Perhaps I will leave Fenerbahce in the summer or before. The club knows my position.
"I came to play in the Champions League and help the club get through the first round – but it hasn't worked out.
"I would like to have second opportunity to play for a big club – that is why I gave my best with Fenerbahce."
Fenerbahce would expect to recoup the money they paid for Anelka a year ago, and Everton could find his reported £50,000-a-week wage demands a problem.

Anelka would be stupid to leave Fenerbahce, you are right he never stays with one team longer than Pam anderson changes panties. He has one of the best midfielders in Alex in this team and they are stating to gel together. If Anelka stays with Fener next season Alex would make him the scoring leader of the Super Lig no problem. But Anelka always wants more, them for a Muslim man he isnt very grateful....Nicholas remember Manchester city ????? You are back in the France National team thanks to Fenerbahce. Fener gave you 10 times more than what you have given them, and now when you just learned your teammates and they learned your ways you want to jump ship.... That is not good and you will not succeed
 nice necro i aggre wid ya man!
