Most of them would come from Uruguay and Brazil. Germany, Hungary and England also had golden idols. Sweden and France (what's that top scorer's name again?) had good players, as well as some Spanish/Argentinean players (Di Stefano).

Oh yeah, don't forget Lev Yashin.
