Alright, let's compare


Goal Keepers: Both good, can't say one is better than another but Mondragon has experience working for him.

Defense: Fenerbahce definitly has a better defense, eventhough Tomas and Song are GSs best players and a little better than Luciano, and Onder. Two supporting them are nowhere near the standard quality of these two teams. Serkan, Onder, Luciano, and Umit are a great wall.

Mid: Hasan, Saidou, Zafer and Necati against Aurelio, Appiah, Selcuk, and Alex.. No contest, Fenerbahce win.

Forward: Hakan and Umit vs Anelka and Tuncay.. Again, no contenst; Fenerbahce a whole class above.



Yeah, I know what you're going to say, "but it's being played in Ali Sami Yen".. Here's what I have to say; even if Galatasaray had two extra players and Alex sent off with a red card, they still couldn't stand up to Fenerbahce.

My prediction... we'll go easy on them

It's one thing saying my teams better then urs on paper and another when they actually play.. just ask the greeks, how many teams were better then them on paper yet when it came to the games who performed better?

Sunday's match of the Turkish Super League brings one of the most anticipated games of the first half of the season, the derby match between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.

Super League champion and leader Fenerbahce will be aiming to please its fans after Wednesday's 4-0 lost to AC Milan in their UEFA Champions League Group E match,On the other hand , second-place Galatasaray will look to close the gap with a win at home.

Galatasaray has a better goal difference and a win for the Cim Bom, will move them to the top of the League.

Volkan is in bad form and Feners defence is collapsing, the key to this match will be the defence of both teams and also the striking ablitites...both teams are able to score quickly but whoever gets the lead here will finish the math with the win...but my prediction is GS 2-1 FB

My summary of the match:

This derby match between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce was the first derby of this young season in Turkish Super League. It may it out to be the biggest one so far..... Galatasaray didn't lose a match in the last five years until Sunday. As far as quality soccer , Turkish soccer fans didn't see well played game yesterday. Matches, only goal came in the last seconds of the first half of the match.( Watch The Goal here )

Nobre, chipped the ball over , Galatasaray Goalie Mondragon as he was coming out of his box. It was a big mistake on be half of Mondragon, he should never come out of his box, in my opinion. Also, when Nobre chipped the ball, it looked to me , his kick was too high....meaning it was a dangerous kick. But referee didn't think so. Appiah assisted Nobre with an excellent pass .

In the second half there were more attacks from Galatasaray but, striker Hakan Sukur and Necati could not score any goals.

Umit Karan, came in to the match as a substitute , He missed opportunities too. In the end , Fenerbahce beat Galatasaray on their own home turf .This was the first win for Fenerbahce in the Ali Sami Yen since the year 2000. Playmaker Alex ,did not play in this match.

After the match, Nobre dedicated his goal to his teammate Alex de Souza. :lol: what a bunch of brazilian poofs :D :clap2:
