He was the best in 2003.
But, nowadays, he misses too much chances.

Nowadays, RVN, Rooney, Droghba are better than Henry.

wrong.

He just came back from injury and has scored 2 goals in every game except 1.

Rooney, Ruud, and even Drogba still havn't reached his level.

Don't hype something when you're too late. :smoking:

Are u serious!
Drogba is a hack with no class and Ruud is only a 2 yard striker.
Henry is still easily the best player in the premiership.

I am not a fan of Henry( ifeel sometimes he is arrogant) but u have to admit there are few players who have been able to produce the goods year in year out in PL
RNV is the only other striker I can think of who is top class & of course Owen has a great record (including the Madrid year)
they are different types of players but both are primmed for big games

I'm sorry mate but your horribly wrong. Henry is the best striker in the Premiership, if not the world.

Van Nistelrooy: 11 EPL matches, 8 goals

Rooney: 10 EPL matches, 4 goals

Drogba: 8 (1) EPL matches , 6 goals

Henry: 5 EPL matches, 5 goals

So... how exactly is Henry no longer prolific? The one arguement you could make is that he has been unable to stay healthy for much of this season, or the end of last. But when he's on the pitch, he scores. So long as he's healthy, he will continue to be one of the premier goalscores in England. RVN is up there. Rooney and Drogba are close, but not quite.

Think of some of the strikers who have graced the premiership an either moved on or retired.

There are a few in there that could be considered.

I think Henry is the current best in the premier league, marginally over michael Owen.

Owen ain't a shade on Thierry.

They both play for their respective countries, Owen cant be that bad.

i donno.
i cant say henry is the best. i think he is in the top 2. he's the most consistent with over 20 goals for the last 5 seasons. and its clear he's gonna get over 20 again this season. but its a toss up. owen is a tremendous striker. but if i had to take one i'ld take henry.
cause not only does he score goals, he makes his team better for it. i mean the minute the guy came back from injury it was like a revalation and suddenly arsenal are every bit as dangerous as they were when they were at thier best 2 years ago.

yeah thats the kind of reply usually posted by people who hate people because they think he's the reason thier team suffers.
fact is the guy is great, with all the injuries arsenal had and still hve, there is a clear difference with how the team plays with just one player in and out of the game. a short handed arsenal is still arguably the best team with henry on the feild. thats how u know greatness. and dont mix arrogant with confidence, when u do what he does, u really cant plame the guy for having a look as if"u cant stop me for the whole 90", on his face. because the truth is, you cant.
personally i think there are more arrogant forwards in this league. the likes of RVN included. he's arrogant and he plays dirty. but it doesnt take away from his greatness.

also, lemme say i dont think he's going to be signing for barcelona. its gonna be tempting but eto, ronni and an up and comming maxi, and also henrik... playing time is gonna be questionable. i see him staying @ highbury
