Barcelona's Puyol: Real Madrid are not that bad

Barcelona captain Carles Puyol insists they aren't paying any attention to Real Madrid's problems in the Liga.
Ahead of their looming clash, Puyol said: "Up to now they have had many losses. What happens is that when a great team loses two games the critics say many things. Personally I believe that they are healthy and they have a very good squad.

"Real Madrid are not as bad as people have been saying.

"We also have a strong squad, which we've shown by the way we've covered for the injuries (to Deco and Julio Belletti)."

well some interesting words from puyol. to be honest i dislike madrid more than i dislike barcelona (when it comes to football) when it comes to the cities i prefer madrid, a lot of people in barcelona dont know what deodorant is, lol

i agree with his statement.

real madrid, even if playing bad, is one of those teams that can beat you anytime.
i think he is smart and want barcelona players to be aware of this and not show too much confidence

^yeah. indeed. Healthy rivalry is a good thing. It doesn't need to bee too friendly but there must be respect. Football is a peaceful sport and one can always hype one's own team but seriously bashing others is wrong

dude have u ever been to barcelonas' website! if u can find one article about a players interview where they say that the other team is shit i'll donat to u all my money! not as if u need it but i will!! its all part of the job son! u cant say in an interview that another team is playing badly

and eto'o has all the right to say shit bout madrid...madrid got eto'o from his home country and when he arrived they treated him like shit...they didnt even bother pickin him up from the airport! wat u talkin bout...i seriously dont blame him for sayin watever he said...plus i dont think he said anythin cuz i never read anythin bout eto'o sayin stupid things...

i suggest u guys go check out www.fcbarcelona.com more often...and see how nearly all the players respond when theyr asked bout the next team theyr gonna play against...

Neither Real players nor Barca ones talk bad about each other's team.....they have a lot of respect.....when have you heard Raul or Zidane talking bad about Barca?? Or Dinho or Puyol?? Maybe just Eto'o does that.....
