:Omar: Real Madrid won the game against Rosenborg in Trondheim Norway last night, and Olympiakos was beaten 1-4 by Lyon. Lyon is number 1 in the group, do you think that Real Madrid will be able to proceed in the Champions league???

RM is mathematically qualified for next round. I don't understand your question.

i don't get it...

Lyon and Real Madrid are the first teams to qualify. Both are going to the knockout stages

and.. they're already playing in the champions league...

you do know that the top 2 teams of each group qualify right?

I had a vision past night. I saw Ramos, with the Real Madrid shirt, holding with his hands a cup with two big ears and hearing a famous Queen song...

What may it mean? :thumb:

if ronie, after the injury, will start scoring again, like he did b4 injury, if robinho will play better than now, and now he is showing a lil bit of magic, if ZIZOU will step on a pitch and show his best, if becks' aerial passes will be finished perfectly...than we'll have no problem reaching and winning La Grande Finale...
of course if nobody will get injured again.

The manner he posted the question, for me, was saying that in his understanding only the #1 team in each group will qualify.

Lyon is number 1 in the group, do you think that Real Madrid will be able to proceed in the Champions league???

So in my POV he was asking if Real madrid still had a chance despite Lyon being in good form

unless we win them like 5-6 to 0..
then we'll still be 2nd..
they have 8+ goals we have 3+ only..
and mite i add..
juninho is the best freekick taker to have ever touch a ball with his foot..
this guy is seriously crazy !! :D

well then, better we play them now and beat them now, i would rather that, if we lose we need to do more work, if we win we prove that we are the best, why should we take the easy way in?

That is so damn right. Remember when we were knocked out by Monaco ? Who would have thought ? It doesn't matter if it's a strong or a weak team, chances are 50/50. So if we should play against a strong team, we better do it now.

also if it proves that we get knocked out, it would give us alot of more time to focus on the La liga like barca did last year, lol, real was sooooo fixed on the champions league that they totally forgot about the la liga, lol

i dont think ur bad. u lost against us in the CL twice very recently, what makes u think it'll be any different if we meet again?

well we beat u once, u beat us once last yr..
the only reason u went thru was becoz in ur home game we played for more than 90 minutes,
so u had more time to score another one to knock us out..

yeah it sucked to play juve at home first then play them away

there was no extra time when they played us at the bernabeu!

its better to play away first

There is no such thing like 2-nd place team are less strong than 1-st place. If Juve is 1 then BM is 2nd. If Liverpool is 1st, then Chelsea are 2nd. If PSV is first (it looks like it) then Milan are 2nd. So the chance for meeting a really strong team are 50-50 no matter whether we finish 1 or 2 in our group.
So. let's take it easy in next 2 CL game and concentrate in La Liga for the moment.

A lot of new prospect and talanted young players, fresh blood, new tactics from Lux, IMO we'll win with a 2 goal advantage, unless our key players will be once again injured
