This game is going to be a challenge for Fenerbahce because they are not going to have Alex. But we have a lot of fans in Germany so it will be like a home game to us. I just hope it doesnt rain. Fenerbahce doesnt play well in the rain
goood luck i hope uz win :ronaldo:

Daum will try to beat Germans on their home ground to get back at them for throwing him out a couple of years ago, and Schalke are desparately looking for the first win in this years Champions League. It's an important match that promises to have some exciting twists. Fenerbahce have won all three Turkish Super League games since these twos last encounter while Schalke gone deep in the gutter with losing 6-0 to Frankfurt and 1-0 to Hamburg.
I'm expecting to see a new formation in Fenerbahce since Alex is out for this one as he received a red card in the previous matchday. Forward will probably fall on Anelkas shoulders with Tuncay to support him. What Daum will do to fill up the abstence of Alex in the midfield is the big question(!)
Best of luck to Fenerbahce!

The last game with fenerbahce was very intresting one. and a goals fest.
One thing I would like to add here is that Schalke 04 have a very good record in the Auf Schalke arena. Even a team like Bayern has managed only one draw, and 6 loses there. It will be tough for Fenerbahce, but I dont mind seeing a high scoring open game like we saw the last time around.

Lol
Schalke has one of the highest attendances even in league games. around 83,000 for every home game. Also, In Germany, people of Turkish descent- about 2-3 million
Germans - 80+ million
We will have more support. :)

Rudi Aussauer, Schalke 04s manager, has said in an interview that he was beat by a Fenerbahce fan into the face, and that the organisation at the stadium in Istanbul was very bad.
That sucks :yuck:

That's a lie, they want to attack us through Galatasarays weakness. They're all full of bullshit, but that don't work on Fenerbahce. We'll beat them fair and square in Germany ;)

In other news; Fenerbahce had their last training in Germany and it was watched by 1500 fans, hopefully this number will be a lot bigger during the game. Fenerbahce has two ultras outside of Turkey, named EuroFeb and Europe GencFB. I'm sure they will be screaming their lungs out. :)
heres the latest news before the big clash....it looks like schalke are gonna play very hard and agressive, they need the win...

2-0 Schalke :)
Fenerbahce was fighting hard, but they ruined it themselves: the two red cards were very stupid by them (but they were correct by the referee).
Fener are with 95% probality out of the CL.

Yes, but you have to play Milan at home and Eindhoven abroad, I think you might get 1 point from that but not more.
It will be very difficult for Schalke though because they are also not in an optimal position because of Eindhovens surprising victory.

Cant believe Fener lost I am so dissapointed. I hate that damn ref god damn it he gave a card to almost everyone on fenerbahce and he gave 2 red cards. We really missed the presence of Alex on the field

very stupid tackle by both luciano and aurelio

Yes, stupid red cards.. I agree
Schalke04 might have beaten Fenerbahce, but that's (I think) because Daum is German and so is Schalke04. They know Daum in Germany very well, thus his game plan. I hope the team doesn't lose its spirit because of one loss, it would be a shame for the work done. Every team still has equal chance of qualifying. A win and a draw in the upcoming two games would send us to second round

i dont think Fener is good enough for CL so if they can be the third in the groups
they have a real chance to win Uefa cup..

I didn't think Tromso was good enough to qualify too, but better proved to go forward. Fenerbahce is just as good as the other 2 (exclude Milan), my friend
