Ruud SUCKS

so if u dont know who "Ruud" is its none other than RUUD VAN NISTELROOY

I've been watching quite a few of Man Utd's matches and I came to the conclusion that this guy SUCKS MAAAAAD ANAL!

I mean ok, he deserves some credit, scored in 8 consecutive games when he first came from Holland. But if you watch this guy realllllly closely, you realise hes nothing but a lurk! He stands next to the keeper and just waits for a rebound! I dont htink Ive evr seen Ruud score from past 8 yards either, last week VS Tottenham he had a a few clean open shots on net, and they didnt even go sideways, they went straight up, in to ROW Z!

How can ppl even compare Rudd to Henry? Henry is better any day, in any way. EVen I could play in the EPL if all I had to do is wait for a kepper to screw up and poke it in :rolling:

I don't think it's fair to say he 'sucks', he does what he does well, and when on-form is one of the best box-strikers in the world.

He is in bad form right now, and isn't doing well.

Yeah, I don't really rate him, but he was a class player, did his job well, and he has scored excellent goals, like the one against Fulham with his run from the halfway line. But Henry is the much better player.

here is my take on this subject:

i dont care where you score a goal from... it could be from your half or from your opponents goal line... a goal is a goal and thats what wins games... any way you get them is what counts. now Ruud may not be the player that scores from outside the box (although i'm sure he'd have no problems doing it if opportunity knocked)... he is a player that does get a lot of chip-ins, true. but if you think all he does is stand there, you're not that bright! it isnt easy to get open and send it home. he works hard to get around his D-man(men) so that he could be open for the tap in. he doesn't just stand there unmarked and wait. it is a skill that he has perfected and it shows. its a dumb thing to say that you think he isnt good because he doesnt do what say Henry does. he is a master at what he does. here is some proof:

in his career he has 232 goals in 363 appearances = 64% of time he scores
for manchester united in league: 137/189= 73%
in europe: 38/47 = 81%
for holland: 25/49 = 51%
in his career: 0 red cards meaning he doesnt put team at a disadvantage
he is also a very good PK striker

lets see: he scores a minimum of 5 goals every 10 games for country or scores over 7 goals in 10 game for Man U. does that make him suck or be a very valuable asset to man u and offensive threat for opponents?

just cause you dont like his way of gettin his goals in no way does that mean he sucks. dont be a tool dude!

Ruud is a great player for Man Utd but i dont think its right that he is the captain.

He hasnt been there quite as long as some players : IE - Ryan Giggs, paul scholes and Gary Neville.
