dude ramos is either a RB or a CB, but lux wants him to be our next star CB, and diogo is also a RB, that is way offfffffff

Ok this might come as a surprise to you but his position as his old club left winger, despite him being a right footer.
I think the formation will look like this.
----------------cassilas----------------
salgado-----ramos-----woodgate---carlos
balboa------helguera---garcia----guti
-----------raul-------robinho----------

if i was the coach i would pick this
----------------cassilas----------------
salgado-----ramos-----woodgate---diogo
robinho------guti---garcia----carlos----
-----------raul-------soldado----------

realmadrid289
10-29-2005, 06:35 AM
thats tupid
ok then i would like 2 c casillas wid raul upfront

Lance Knight
10-29-2005, 10:09 AM
most likely he would play the first one, but for sure not the second one,
if he plays salado from the start along side robinho and raul alittle behind them it may be better, lik with this formation

---------------Robinho--------Soldado-------------
-------------------------Raul----------------------
-------------Guti---------------Balboa(or Juafran or De La Red)
-----------------------Garcia( or graveson)----------
----Carlos-------Helegara-----Woodgate-----Ramos

i think this is the best possible back 4 for us, but i would think this would be the most preductive formation for us

so bojabjab how r u doing now? lol

so madrid won 2-0 vs betis in a very smartly played game by madrid, it is always tough 2 win an away game especially against betis but both teams had many players missing & madrid played the game as it should have, a defensive game & robinho scored a beauty.......

lets see now how many red cards real sociedad players get & how many fake penalties barca will be awarded in their game 2day.......

well this was the post match report, for anyone who missed the game:

Real Betis 0-2 Real MadridPA

SEVILLE, October 29 (Primera Liga) - Goals from Robinho and substitute Alvaro Mejia gave Real Madrid all three points as they beat Betis in the Manuel Ruiz de Lopera stadium.

Robinho curled home a right foot shot just before the half hour, while Mejia, making his first appearance of the season, headed the second with just over 10 minutes remaining.

The win should temporarily quieten talk of crisis at Madrid, where a defeat would have put coach Wanderley Luxemburgo's job under threat.

As it was his side showed enough character to win a game in which a plague of injuries and suspensions stopped either side performing at anywhere near their best.

Both sides went into the game well below full strength: Madrid were without long-term casualties Ronaldo and Julio Cesar Baptista as well as Thomas Gravesen, Zinedine Zidane and David Beckham who was unavailable with a calf problem.

Luxemburgo was at least able to welcome back defender Michel Salgado.

That allowed Carlos Diogo to push forward to occupy Beckham's usual role on the right, while central defender Sergio Ramos also found himself in an unfamiliar midfield role alongside Pablo Garcia.

Betis, meanwhile, were without winger Joaquin and defender Melli whose appeals against Thursday's red cards against Villarreal had been rejected earlier in the day.

They joined an already long list of absentees including set piece expert Marcus Assuncao, midfielder Miguel Angel and defenders David Rivas and Luis Fernandez.

With so many players out, the untidy start was unsurprising, with both teams committing too many fouls and players looking for individual actions.

Roberto Carlos fired wide, while at the other end Fernando Varela surged forward only to see his left foot shot saved comfortably by Iker Casillas.

Luxemburgo had complained after Thursday's defeat to Deportivo that his side had lacked attitude, with former Sevilla player Ramos in the middle of the park, that was not the case against Betis, although flowing football was also largely absent.

Robinho gave Madrid the lead after 29 minutes, collecting a square pass from Raul and curling a smart shot in at Toni Doblas' left hand post from just outside of the penalty area.

Raul worked a chance to make it 2-0 but his left foot effort was blocked, while Xisco and Pablo Castellini tried to make progress down the Betis left.

The second half saw Betis try and take the game to Madrid, but Luxemburgo's new-look midfield held firm, although they were at times forced into fouls in order to stop Xisco and Edu, both of whom were working hard.

Meanwhile, Robinho was keeping the home defence on its toes with a pair of attacking runs.

With just over half an hour remaining Betis coach Lorenzo Serra Ferrer made a double substitution to try and get his side back into the game.

First striker Dani Martin replaced midfielder Arzu and Capi took the place of the tiring Xisco, but despite their efforts, Betis were clearly missing Joaquin's inventiveness in attack.

Jonathan Woodgate was booked for handball after 70 minutes.

Mejia doubled Madrid's lead with 11 minutes remaining. The central defender had only just entered the game as a substitute, replacing Diogo in midfield when he ran onto Guti's delightful chip and nodded the ball over the stranded Doblas to seal the points.

I can't say that Real played good, Betis is in awful form, I would be very surprised if Real had lost, it is 4th defeat of betis, in a row.
How is Ronie doing?
