80 minutes they couldnt score a single goal against malaga so what does the referee do? give them a penalty, i read somewhere that there was almost no contact!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its like referees r hell bent on making barca win(especially at home)...if not a red card, its a penalty, 1 way or the other...

Well if zidane knew he couldnt score it, why didnt he give it to raul or some else to take it? he is a legend. he chould atleast know when he isnt feeling well enough to take a penalty.

Yea but how did they score? they caught malaga on the break. Why were malaga attacking? because they were 1-0 down thx to ronaldinho's dive. Great example the world player of year should set to youngsters huh.

Not exactly.

we were on a bright track at the beginning of the season, but as ussual injuries came hard on us.

Our entire club needs a change, we need to stop depending on individual players, like Zidane, Ronaldo and Beckham to save us.

Look at Chelsea, Juventus or even AC Milan, they all have tons of talented players at hand just waiting to get some time on the pitch, Chelsea have Shaun Wright Phillips waiting for Robben for example, Juventus have Mutu and Del Piero waiting for Ibrahimovic and Trezeguet and Vieira waiting for Nedved for example, AC Milan have Vieri, Inzaghi, Shevchenko and Gilardino all taking turns in each game, and Seedorf, Pirlo, Kaka, Gattuso, Serginho, Ambrosini etc... all taking turns.

Now look at our squad, we only have 3 forwards:

Raul
Robinho(Needs more experience to become effective enough)
Ronaldo(Injured)
and maybe even Soldado since he scored in the Champions League he might coem back from the C team.

Look at our midfield:

Zidane
Baptista
Garcia(Red carded in CL)
Gravesen(Red Carded in La Liga)
Beckham(Red Carded in La Liga)
Guti

Look at our Defense:

Salgado(Injured)
R.Carlos
Sergio Ramos(Red carded in La Liga)
Helguera(doesn't like our club anymore)
Raul Bravo(why is he still with our club?)

very nice post :) what we need is players who are good, but are subs..
the problem with madrid is that we buy so high calliber players that no1 wants to be on the bench
all other clubs just as good players on the bench as they have on the pitch.
we need some good subs.. like 5 or 6 Guti's :)
