Tomorrow, in Guadalajara IIRC. Most players are from Uruguayan teams, as the game is treated as a money-raising exercise and a test lab for young promises.

Interestingly enough, however, Sebastián "El Loco" (Madman) Abreu will be in the starting team. I wonder if the coach is thinking about him for the next game...?

I'm sure we will have our "south-american spies" watching closely..

Abreu is not on his best shape, even though he is the top scorer in the hard mexican league playing with B class team, he has won the right to play this friendly match but is too difficult that he is going to be in the team that will play against AUS. Too many goods strikers at this point and both Zalayeta and Morales can play on his position.
The player with serious chances to get a position in "the" team is Godin who can eventually substitute Diego Lugano or at least cover the bench place of Diego Rodriguez (Diego not Dario) if he plays instead of Lugano.

As was said before, this game is for the future.

There are players who are already on the team:
Godin
G.Rodriguez
Pousso
R.Nunez
V.Sanchez
- Here I think its good to give Pousso more playing time in the celeste, as well as Godin. I really like V.Sanchez as a 2nd half sub in any game. He regulates the tempo really well.

Also, there are players that are interesting to look at like:
- Lima : a legitamite option for the 4 position instead of putting G. Rodriguez there when the guy is a 2.
- Godin: has a classy nature, need to see him in action
- Mono Pereira: great player, need to expose him to la celeste

Slo let's see.

i dont think so.

i mean, lets face it, the uruguay in mexico was COMPLETELY different players than the ones that will play you guys.

no forlan, no recoba, no morales or zalayeta, no garcio or diogo.

good luck aussies;)
